"Liliana!" I heard my mother call from where I was in the bathroom doing the finishing touches on my cat-eye. I rolled my eyes and started down the stairs to where my father was sitting at the table, paper in hand and my mother was fixing her coffee. "You're going to be late for school if you keep this up," she reminded me for the billionth time this morning. "Thanks, mom." My father looks up and I can feel his eyes on me. "Don't you think that those jeans are a little too informal for school?" he asks before returning his gaze to the more pressing matters of the NYC newspaper. I look down at my blue jeans, pink wedges, and white lace tank-top before involuntarily rolling my eyes. It's literally the same thing I wear everyday. We all hear the car horn and I grab a muffin before starting towards the door. "Sorry, gotta go. Love you guys." "Love you, sweetheart, see you tomorrow!" My mom calls as I slam the door behind me.

Paisley picks Lauren, Katherine, Kaitlyn, and I up for school because her Range Rover can fit all of us. Alexia just rides to school with Asher and Montana's parents make her chauffeur take her to school. Paisley hands me my Starbucks as I slide into the passenger seat. It's become a tradition for her to bring us all Starbucks in the morning. "So, Lilly, Alexia told me that this guy started talking to in the music shop.", Katherine says. "Yeah, I couldn't reach the vinyl so he got it for me and told me that he didn't think 'a girl like me' would listen to All Time Low. Like, what the hell is that even supposed to mean?" "But was he cute?" "Good to know you're asking the important questions, Lauren," Kaitlyn sarcastically remarks as we pull up to our school.

We all go over to the tree in front of the building to meet up with Alexia and Asher. As soon as we all get there Lauren walks over to Asher and kisses him on the cheek. They're actually quite a cute couple despite Alexia being against it at first. The bell rings a couple minutes later and we all go to class.

~~Later at lunch ~~

We all meet at our usual spot, a bench under the tree up in the hill. It's the best spot to eat. Katherine is always a little late, but it's understandable since she takes a science class meant for seniors, so it's on the other side of the campus. When she arrives she starts talking about her new cute lab partner Ashton and how he goes by Ash just like Asher. "So, I invited him to the party tonight and told him he could bring his friends." Katherine finishes just as Calum Hood walks up.

Calum and Asher are on the school soccer team together, they're co-captains and the most popular guys, so it's not unusual that Asher's having an after game party because his and Alexia's parents are out of town. "Hey Ash, just wanted to see if you still need me and some the guys to go get the beer for the party?" Calum asked. "Yeah that'd be great, my parents found my fake I.D. and took it so I can't go get it myself." "Okay, Cool. Well, we should probably go to practice now." Asher looks at the time and nods standing up. "Okay, see you guys later." Asher says turning to us before walking away with Calum.

~~At soccer game~~

As soon as we park, the people from the car next to us get out of their car and a tall blonde guy almost hits the Rover with his door. Now everyone knows not to mess with Paisley's Rover, that thing is like her child or something. "Hey, Jackass, watch where you're swinging that door." Paisley says, sounding quite pissed off. Oh great here we go. "I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to hit your car." says the poor boy that had the unfortunate luck to almost hit Paisley's car. "Yeah, whatever." Paisley says while rolling her eyes and walking towards the soccer field.

Our school, Blythe Prep is playing against Einstein Prep. And yes, Blythe prep, as in Blythe my last name. My family founded this school and yadayadaya, it was some huge publicity thing to make my dad look better for the company name.

The game is on its second half and we're leading by 5 points, so the girls and I decide that it's a good time to go to Alexia's house and start getting ready for the party.
