We get so wrapped up in our own personal lives, that we never take a look. Not a look around at what's on our right, our left, in front of, or behind us. Not a look inwards to reflect on how to better our own personal life. But a true look. A look at not who we are individually, but who we are as a whole. As a species. A look at how do we fit into the grand scheme of this painting that's called the Universe? Are we so naive to believe that we are the only intelligent beings in the Universe? That it is we who are the leading model as a species for all future generations of any species, whether they exist now, or will come to exist, to follow? When do we look at the destruction that we leave in our wake? When do we look at better ways to accomplish new feats without leaving waste behind? Is all of our advancement truly worth the cost if it does more harm than good? When do we take a look at Us and evaluate what We are? A look at how We would be seen in the eyes of another. When do we take a look at what's truly important?
When do we take a look at who We can be?
