It been four days since Kacey murdered Jareese and he's hasn't been the same since they left Jareese in a dumpster.
He had missed days of school, he wasn't eating, smoking, or talking to anyone other than Elijah and when he did talk to him, it was only a few words.
The only thing he was doing was sleeping. He would sleep all day and night; it clearly was how he was coping with this.
Elijah was here so that, so he was another way he was coping. Elijah made him feel somewhat better, he made sure that Kacey had eaten and kept checking on him every minute.
It was different from when Elijah had got his first body, he didn't even feel anything about it. Not a single ounce of remorse or sympathy for his victim.
But Kacey was different, he was feeling remorse and guilty about shooting Jareese.
He felt so bad about what he did, and it was eating him alive. The paranoid part was really eating him up.
What if someone reported a missing person for Jareese? What if they already found Jareese's body?
Since they now know that Jareese had snitched on them, they were worried about the feds trying to find them.
They hadn't made any sells, they hadn't talked to anyone, they even were ignoring Lamont.
They been laying low since Ace's birthday and this was their first time ever going out of the house. It was the best decision in their opinion.
They were inside of the dark trap, and it wasn't for the music that was playing, it would've been dead silent.
Since both of them were in their heads about what has went down, they didn't speak for a minute.
