Matthew's POV

The air was thick with tension as Raphael and his warriors prepared for the final confrontation with the rogue pack. The rogues had overstepped their bounds, attacking nearby villages and leaving destruction in their wake. I could feel the unease in the pack, but Raphael stood at the forefront, radiating unshakable confidence.

"You'll stay here," Raphael ordered, his tone leaving no room for argument as he buckled the straps of his armor.

"Raphael, I-"

"No," he interrupted, his dark eyes locking onto mine. "This isn't up for debate. I can't focus if I'm worried about you out there."

I wanted to argue, to tell him I could hold my own, but the look in his eyes stopped me. His fear wasn't just about my safety-it was about losing the person he held dearest.

"Fine," I relented, stepping closer. "But you come back to me. Promise me."

He cupped my face in his hands, his thumbs brushing my cheeks. "I'll always come back to you," he vowed, pressing a lingering kiss to my lips.

From the safety of the packhouse, I watched as Raphael and his warriors marched toward the forest where the rogue pack had set up camp. Alice stood beside me, her hands glowing faintly as she reinforced the protective wards around the pack.

"He's going to win," she said, her voice steady. "Raphael wouldn't allow anything else."

I nodded, but my heart still clenched with worry. Raphael was strong, but the rogue leader was cunning and ruthless. I could only hope that Raphael would emerge victorious.

Hours passed, and the tension became unbearable. Then, a victorious howl echoed through the forest, followed by the sound of wolves returning.

When Raphael stepped out of the trees, bloodied but victorious, my heart nearly burst with relief.

Raphael's POV

The rogue leader had been stronger than expected, but I fought with a fury fueled by love and the need to protect my mate. Every blow I delivered, every command I barked to my warriors, was driven by the thought of him waiting for me.

When the rogue leader finally fell, I felt a weight lift from my shoulders. I turned to my warriors, their howls of victory ringing through the forest. But even as they celebrated, my focus was on returning to Matthew.

Narrator

The packhouse was alive with celebration that night. Warriors and pack members from both the Blood Moon and Blue Moon packs gathered in the great hall, toasting to their victory. Tables were laden with food, the air filled with laughter and the clinking of glasses.

Matt sat beside Raphael at the head table, his hand resting on matt as he addressed the crowd. "Today, we proved that together, we are unstoppable," he declared, his voice commanding yet warm. "But this victory isn't just about defeating the rogues. It's about protecting what matters most-our families, our mates, and our future."

The crowd erupted in cheers, but Raphael's focus was entirely on Matthew.

-------------------------------

As the night wore on, Raphael stood, drawing the room's attention once more. Matty looked at him curiously as he reached for his hand, pulling Matt to his feet.

"I have one more thing to say," Raphael announced, his voice steady but filled with emotion. He turned to Matthew, dropping to one knee.

Gasps filled the room, but Matthew could only focus on Raphael's dark eyes, filled with love and determination.

"You are my mate, my strength, and my heart," he said, his voice low enough that only Matthew could hear. "From the moment I found you, my life has been brighter, fuller. I've faced countless battles, but nothing has ever been as clear to me as this-you are my future."

He pulled a small box from his pocket, opening it to reveal a ring that shimmered with a delicate blue stone. "Will you do me the honor of standing beside me for the rest of our lives? Will you marry me?"

Tears filled Matthew's eyes as the room fell silent, everyone waiting for his response. Matthew nodded, his voice trembling as he said, "Yes."

The room erupted into cheers as slipped the ring onto your finger, rising to pull you into a deep, passionate kiss. His arms wrapped around you, shielding you from the rest of the world.

"You're mine forever," he murmured against your lips, his voice filled with a love so fierce it left no room for doubt.

"And you're mine," Matthew replied, his heart soaring.

The celebration carried on late into the night, but for Matthew and Raphael, the world felt quiet, as if it was just the two of them. Together, they had faced challenges, and together, they would build a future full of love, strength, and unshakable devotion.
