*~Sky Blu's POV~*

Later that night after the police had collected our statements and let us go on our ways, Scott had also learned that Amanda had been about two months pregnant, give or take. That must have been the surprise she was planning on telling him before all this had happened.

Ari had insisted that I drive Scott's car as he couldn't be trusted alone and that we'd meet back at his house.

Scott didn't say a thing as he reluctantly handed me over his keys, just climbed inside the passenger seat and immediately tugged his hood over his head, closing his eyes as he cried quietly to himself.

I didn't bother even trying to say anything comforting, knowing my words wouldn't be anywhere near good enough to soothe the deep ache he was feeling.

Instead I let my hand rest on top of his, giving it a reassuring squeeze.

"Sky?" He said, his voice soft and broken.

"Yeah Scott?" I asked just as quiet, afraid to even raise my voice.

"Thanks."

I just nodded, letting out an exhausted sigh as I also wrestled with the torturous thoughts that none of us were gonna see Amanda again, and it also hit harder knowing she had been expecting.

Once we pulled into Scott's driveway, the air was so thick with tension it felt excruciatingly suffocating, leaving you with  a choking sensation.

Aristos was already waiting by the door for us, his arms outstretched as he instantly took Scott into a tight bear hug, keeping him close as his cousin had began to breakdown all over again, his entire body trembling as he sobbed heavily.

I helped Ari guide him into the house, going on the opposite side to steady him as we walked up the front steps, hurriedly unlocking the front door with Scott's keys as we reached the porch.

"Fuck man." Scott suddenly wailed, dropping himself straight onto the floor, curling up into a ball instinctively as he shielded his face away from us with his hands. "I deserved to die, not her. Not fuckin Manny bro."

Ari went upstairs to Scott's room to hunt around for anything he could find to help lower him off the edge, hopefully a Xanax or even a damn Prozac,  something to help ease the pain.

I sat down on the floor beside Scott, not saying anything, but letting my hands move to his back, rubbing it as soothingly as I could.

"I fucking killed her, Sky. I killed her and my fuckin kid. I don't deserve to live. I need to fuckin die." He cried, his fists pounding into the hardwood floor beneath us which made me flinch slightly from the sudden reaction.

I gripped onto Scott's shoulders, pulling him towards me now as laid his head on my thigh, his tears soaking through the fabric of my sweats. I moved a hand to his hair, raking my fingers over his scalp in a calming way while the other  went to his face. My thumb began to rub over his cheek, seeming to settle him just a tad.

A few minutes later Ari returned downstairs, two pills in his hand and a cup of water.

I gently nudged Scott as he continued to just sob and snivel uncontrollably, trying to get him to sit up. "C'mon Scotty, we gotta take these, they'll help you feel a little better."

He sat up, but without warning or any hesitation, he harshly knocked the pills out of Ari's hand, sending them flying across the room.

"Nah fuck that, no, you're not fuckin doping me up." He hissed, his tone now cold and bitter. "This shit killed my fuckin family and now y'all are tryin to take me out too?"

He pulled himself to his feet, moving away from Aristos and I like we were suddenly against him.

"Scott, please, don't act like this. We're just trying to help you, that's all." I pleaded, keeping my voice low but firm.

"Yeah bro, that's all, nothing else. You're my fuckin cousin, Scott, my brother. I wouldn't turn my back on you dude." Ari tried now, his voice cracking towards the end.

Scott stood there, his eyes darkened and hard, his jaw clenched tight. His entire demeanor changing with the flip of a switch.

His hands were bawled into tight fists at his sides, his knuckles turning white from the force.  Ari tried to step closer, but stopped as Scott started to shake. "Get the fuck away from me bro. Both of you- just get away from me."

His voice was unforgiving, his words sharp. He was going through the motions all at once, anger flooding right through him.

Aristos moved to me, putting me behind him to shield me from whatever move Scott was planning next. "You're hurt, you're upset, you're fucking going through something we couldn't possibly begin to understand. But Scott don't push us out- we just wanna help."

He shook his head, scoffing bitterly, just as his hand reached into his pocket, popping out a small knife.

My eyes widened, now genuinely terrified at what the fuck Scott was planning to do. "Scott stop fucking playing like that. Put that shit away, or else I'll have to take it from you."

Scott didn't pay any mind to Ari's threats, flicking it open without any second thoughts. He ran it up and down his arm, digging it into the flesh just enough to nick the skin. "Get the fuck away Oddy, I'm not playing with you." He snapped, narrowing his eyes at his cousin.

"Scott don't do this please, it's not worth it. Hurting yourself isn't gonna bring her back, it isn't gonna help the situation any." I practically begged him, trying to get him to stop.

But he wasn't budging, and I cringed at the sight in front of me, shutting my eyes tight as he didn't hesitate to do it again, this time slashing right across his wrist, the blood seeping out and running down his hand.

"Goddamn it Scott." Ari hissed, letting out a panicked huff as he watched him do it to his other wrist next. "You're fucking acting insane! You're gonna end up fucking locked away and I won't be able to fucking help you man!"

Scott laughed, humor less and spiteful, not even caring that his blood was dripping profusely onto the floor, splattering onto his white Nikes and staining his clothes.

His smirk was distorted, clearly he was hanging by a single thread that was coming unraveled more by the second.

"I don't want your fuckin help Ari, I don't fuckin want any of it. I just want my girl back, the only way that's gonna happen is if I fuckin just die. So shut the fuck up and let me!" He growled lowly, the tears leaking down his cheeks as he began to slash at his wrists more persistently.

I watched Aristos as he angrily wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, a hurt and betrayed expression spread across his face. "Scott- you could have avoided this if you had just been faithful to her!"

Scott's head whipped to the side, glaring daggers at Ari as those words left his mouth. "Fuck you! You're no fucking better than I am! You fucking hypocrite asshole!" He yelled furiously, stepping towards Ari now as the rage flickered in his eyes.

I carefully observed Scott, seeing the color starting to drain out of him and the fight slowly dwindling down. He was losing a good amount of blood, we needed to get him to the hospital.

"Scott, please, just let me help you! You need to get to the hospital, you're bleeding everywhere, it's getting serious." I spoke up finally, my voice wavering as I choked back a sob. "Please, Scott. I can't lose you too.

For a second, his expression softened, his rage seeming to simmer,  a glimmer of hope radiating.

But just as quickly as it appeared did it soon fade, watching as his jaw clenched. "Sorry Sky. I just can't fucking face what I've caused."

Just as he was attempting to put the blade to his throat, Ari had took the opportunity when he was distracted long enough to tackle Scott down to the floor, sending the blade flying.

I stood there almost completely frozen, my legs feeling like jelly as they started to give way while I watched Scott wrestling with Aristos.

"Sky! Call 911, tell them to fucking hurry!"
