*~Sky Blu's POV~*

February 19th, 2019

Aristos and I were currently outside the hospital, standing beside Scott as he was being discharged and checking himself into rehab, waiting for the shuttle van to pick him up and take him to the airport.

We had held Amanda's memorial a couple days before,  it was just Ari and I. Scott wasn't allowed to leave the hospital but we did video chat him so he could see.

During that time Scott had also said a farewell to his unborn baby as well, stating that no matter boy or girl, they would have been named Aris, in honor of his favorite cousin, his brother.

Aristos broke down immediately after that and relapsed on heroin the same night.

Now Scott's mom Toni, his brother Justy, and their Granny had all stopped by to come to show support for Scott and wish him well.

But none of Ari's family had come, simply because they were too busy, but truthfully it was because they didn't want to see Aristos.

They knew he was still using, they knew about him getting divorced, and they knew about me being back and moving in.

Ari was moving from foot to foot, fidgeting with his hands, clearly uncomfortable as he had officially been 24 hours sober off of opiates and heroin.

He wanted to at least see Scott off in a clear state of mind, but after that? It was anyone's guess if he was going to actually stick to it and continue being clean.

"Ya know I'm fuckin' nervous as fuck but lowkey? Kinda happy to be doin this too." Scott said as he clapped a hand to my back, making me smile.

"I'm really proud of you Scotty boy, we all are. And who knows, maybe by the time you're back, you'll be ready to take on the role of bein an uncle.."

Scott's eyes practically bulged out of his skull as he turned to face me, his mouth hanging open in total shock as we moved away from the group.

"Ahem, excuse me?" He practically choked, his hands gripping my shoulders. "The fuck did you jus say shawty? Are you fuckin' wit me right now?"

"No, I'm not." I laughed, shaking my head. "After Ari asked me to move in,  he brought up the idea of us, um, having a kid."

Scott's brows furrowed, his expression hard to read as he let out a sigh, his hands dropping down to his sides.

"Sky, don't ya think it's a lil too soon for all dat? I mean, you an Ari just finally really got connected again, he ain't even fully divorced yet. Like I ain't hatin or nothin but like I'm also jus tryna look out for you both."

I knew Scott had a point, it was definitely too soon for us to be thinking about kids, especially when in reality neither Ari or I ever even wanted them.

To be honest I just didn't know what had compelled him to even bring that idea up to me, but I wholeheartedly believed it was just the drugs talking that day, unfortunately.
