Phil already dropped off my clothes and stuff at Stark's house. I'm currently still in my office in SHIELD. I made sure all my top secret paperworks are shredded. I can't take risks of having an intruder break in here and have a peek at them. The door opened revealing Jake. This boy needs to learn how to knock. He gave me a small smile.

"Ready?" He asks leaning his back on the wall.

"Oh please, I can do anything Jake." I say smugly.

He chuckled and I stand in front of him.

"Just make sure you don't fall in love with him too." He tells me seriously.

"Me? Falling in love with Stark? What a joke." I say shaking my head.

"I'm serious Riley. He's a playboy who knows how to play with girl's heart and break them into millions of pieces." He warns me, his bright blue eyes shines with so much care.

"I promise that I won't fall in love with him." I tell him.

"Good," he said in relief.

He engulfed me into a tight hug and I hugged back. We pulled away and he gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. He left without looking at my reaction. That was unexpected

*later*

"Welcome Ms. O'Conner." Said a robotic voice as I entered Stark's mansion.

I'm not going to lie, this is the best mansion I have ever been in.

"Oh uhm thanks. So do you have a name or something? I ask looking around.

"My name is Jarvis m'am," he answered.

"About the hacking the other other night, sorry about that Jarvis." I say scratching the back of my neck.

"It's no problem."

"Don't I also get a sorry?" Asks Stark who came up from his basement wearing a smirk.

Why does he always have to smirk?

"Considering you are now my boss. I'm s-sor-sorry Mr. Stark." I say having trouble saying the apology.

I hate saying apologies because it brings my pride down.

"You sounded like a 2 year old trying to say sorry for the first time." He laughs.

"I haven't apologized since I was like 10," I say sounding like it's a joke but it's actually not.

He sneers, "That's like me saying I haven't had a one night stand since last night."

I rolled my eyes. This man is such a pig.

"Anyways, enough chit-chat. Jarvis! Show Riley to her room," he orders.

"Yes sir," obeyed Jarvis.

Stark gave me a one last smirk before walking back down to his basement. Jarvis told me where my room is, I followed. Just my luck it is across from Stark's. I entered my room. Dammnn, not bad. The room is big and elegant. I see my bags on the side of my bed. My phone dings. I took my phone out and received a text from Jake.

Jacob: Hey Riley. I'm going on a new mission, along with Clint and Dr. Selvig for the tesseract.

Riley: Lucky!! I've always wanted to work on the tesseract and I want to see Clint. But it's okay I guess. Just have fun and stay safe.

Jacob: Thanks Ri and it's too bad you're not here because Clint misses you too.

I sighed as I put my phone back in my pocket. No fair, if I wasn't here, I'd be there woking with them. I've always wished and hoped to work on the Tesseract but instead I'm stuck here working for a billionaire playboy who I have to somehow make him fall in love with me. I see a stack of unfinished paperworks on my desk. I examined it and it's paperworks for Stark. Life is a bitch sometimes.
