Unpredicted Beloved

Rudransh's POV-

I was in my cabin, looking through some files , when Mr. Kapoor barged inside the cabin.

"Sorry sir,but I can't do this anymore" He said in frustrated tone.

"What's wrong Mr. Kapoor? " I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Miss.Rudranshi sir. That girl, she  troubled me alot but I didn't complain, but now water is going over my head sir. " He said dramatically,while rubbing his face.

"Mr.kapoor tell me clearly, so that I could make a solution" I said sternly.

He was looking really mad and I know it's something serious because he isn't a person to loose his cool so easily.

"I had some points to clear with her regarding the ongoing project but as I entered the cabin, she didn't even let me say a word and dismissed me, without giving a proper explanation.she just keeps bossing around, I can't work with her. She is very self- centered woman. Please sir, make a solution or replace me " He seemed to be very frustrated by his tone.

"Okay, I'll go and talk to her. Till then you can focus on other parts of the project" I told him while getting up from my chair.

I always knew she is grumpy but I was pretty sure that is loves her work by the amount of efforts she put on her share of work. But what happened to her suddenly?

Let's see what this woman is upto.

With his steady and quick steps he moved throughout the corridors to reach her cabin.
As he twisted the knob of her cabin door, he was introduced to nothing but emptiness.

No one was there except her belongings which told that she was still there.
As he moved further, he found some scribbled papers on her desk. which didn't seem normal to him as they were something different, more intense, looked like done out of anxiety

Obviously done by her. He sighed and turned around to take a look on the file kept on the table.

As he was about to hold the file a stinking smell hit his nostrils and it was a known smell.

It was prohibited in the office to smoke.
He decided to look who this idiot was so he moved further and went to the attached balcony but what he found there shocked him.

It was the most unexpected person he could expect here, that too smoking.

Ye to teri soch se bhi aage nikli. His mind mocked her.

She seemed so collected from her demeanor.
Never thought she could be into these things, anyway she broke the rules, she'll have to face the consequences.

But as he was observing her from some distance. He felt something off. She was looking down and body trembling. As if she isn't inhaling the smoke but the smoke is inhaling her. As if she was trying to put something out but can't.

She is something more than what she shows, an unsolving riddle.

She was taking support of the railing. She was wiping her tears which were running out of her eyes and also how she watched the sky as if she was finding something up there and also, he saw how she crushed the burning cigarette between her fingers. He saw it, he saw it all,instead of stopping her and scolding her for breaking the rules,not one but multiple rules. Both Ethical and professional.

But he couldn't, His feet froze there,don't know why but he didn't find it right.
He didn't feel right to invade her space.
He didn't feel right to find her in this state.
He didn't feel right to not have the right to go and approach her.
Nothing happened but his heartbeat quicken as if asking him to run toward her,but it's not right,is it?
