all six of us our now lounging around in sundays room.
malachi and sunday on her bed. the both of them on sundays phone watching tiktok.
noah and eli are on her carpet wrestling around.
and demitra and i are on her couch, my legs propped up on demitra's legs.
she's rubbing her hand up and down on my legs and we're all just relaxing.
sunday sits up on her bed and complains, "i'm hungry!"
noah and eli pause their wrestling match to agree.
"what should we get for dinner?" i ask, still laying down.
"i say, we make homemade pizza." eli says.
"we should bake a cake too." malachi says.
demitra hums, "we have to go to the store, we need ingredients."
eli's the first to get up, "lets go! we need to eat now."
everybody makes their way to mrs. kalogeras' SUV and we all get comfortable in the spacious car.
sunday, who's driving, starts the car up and adjust her seat so she can see the road.
once she pulls out of the drive way, demitra starts bothering malachi.
i turn to talk to eli and noah.
"oh! malachi what are you doing for your birthday?" i ask.
"when's your birthday, mali?" eli asks.
he groans at the mention of his birthday, "april fifteenth."
"what? that's right around the corner!" sunday exclaims.
