"Sonja," Tucker whispered. Tom looked at him, that's when the realisation sunk in. "SONJA!" Tucker screamed, scrambling to his feet. Tom shielded his ears with his hands. Tucker instantly took off, sprinting towards the forest.

"Is Sonja in there?" Jordan asked Tom, the worry showing in his eyes.

"Must be."

"Go with them, Tom, I'll stay with Ziva," Jordan ordered. Tom nodded and stood up to follow Tucker.

"SONJA!" Tucker kept yelling, waiting for a response. He was furiously chopping through vines and branches, searching. When he found her, he ran to her and wrapped his arms round her. He could hear her whimpering.

"Are you alright?" He asked putting her at arm's length away and inspecting her. She was shaking. Sonja nodded gently.

"What happened?" Tom asked when he reached them. Sonja didn't respond. She slowly lifted one arm and pointed towards a gap between two trees. Tom carefully walked over to inspect what she was pointing at. At first, he saw nothing. Just trees and overgrown grass. He turned his head slightly, to see further between the trees. Suddenly, out of nowhere, appeared a hooded figure.

Tom squealed. Not screamed. Squealed. He squealed a high pitch squeal, much like one you would expect to hear from a 5 year old girl. Tucker wanted to see what it was that had terrified Sonja but resisted. Usually when Tom screamed, sorry, squealed, they would just ignore it- It was a regular occurrence. But when Sonja screamed, it had to have been serious. Tom hadn't stopped squealing and Tucker seemed to be getting bored.

"Tom can you be quiet already?"

"B-but look at it!"

"What is it?"

"IT'S MOVING!" Tom ran and hid behind Tucker with Sonja. The hooded figure slowly stepped around the tree, revealing himself to Tucker.  He was a tall, skinny man who wore a grey cloak that went down to his knees and covered his head. He would have looked like a normal man, well, a weirdly dressed man, if he didn't have what looked like blood coming from his eyes. It only took a second for Tucker to realise who this man was.

"Waglington? Thank God it's you. How'd you get here?" Tucker walked up him like they were old friends.

"TUCKER WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Tom yelled, making Sonja wince.

"My ears!"

"Sorry."

"Dude, it's only Wag," Tom and Sonja didn't know who he was. Sonja seemed like she was trying to figure out but Tom... He just stared blankly at Waglington. "You know, the wizard?"

"OHHHH" Tom had finally used his pea-sized brain. "Dude, how you been?" He ran up and hugged him, pulling his cloak off his head, showing his mousy brown hair. Waglington, taken aback by this sudden affection, simply pulled up his hood and shrugged. "Wait," Tom stepped away from Waglington to look him in the eyes. "How did you get here?"

A smirk grew across Waglington's face, "Did you forget something Tom?" He stared at the green man with piercing eyes. This look scared Tom, leaving him unable to answer. "No? You haven't forgotten anything?" Waglington ran and closed the space between him and Tom, grabbing Tom's shirt collar and pinning him up against a tree. Suspended in the air, Tom looked down at Waglington with eyes glazed with fear. "YOU FOOL, I AM A WIZARD." Before he could start another sentence, Tucker sprinted over and yanked Tom free of the wizards grasp.

"That's enough, Wag," Tucker said as Tom began to dust himself off. "Let's just go back to Jordan and Ziva and we'll sort things out there, okay?"

"Who is Ziva?"

"I'll explain on the way."

"I'll get some wood for a fire!" Sonja shouted as Tucker began to walk, separating Tom and Waglington.

The quick walk back seemed to be longer than it actually was. Tom and Waglington giving each other menacing glares every twenty or thirty second was beginning to drive Tucker mad. Sonja was just glad she was trailing behind them, focusing on not dropping any of the sticks she collected.

As they approached, Jordan looked up from helping Ziva collect some water and looked over his shoulder to see an extremely depressed version of 'The Three Amigos'.

"James? Is that you?" The man with dried blood upon his face nodded slightly. "What happened?"

"Before you get all touchy-touchy," Tom stared at Jordan, as if he were daring him to say another word; Daring him to speak to James. "We need him to explain how he got here," He pointed in Waglington's direction.

James, seemingly unfazed by the attitude Tom was giving him, lay down on his back on the grass beneath his feet, gazing up at what was the abyss known as the end.

"I'm a wizard."

"James, we know that," Jordan knelt down beside him. "But we need to know how you got here, in detail." James sat up and looked around the group. He looked at Jordan, who was kneeling beside him, closer than he would've preferred. He looked at Tom who, refused to look at him. He looked at Tucker, and how he had a firm grasp around Sonja's waist. He looked at how she nestled into the crook of his shoulder. Finally, he looked at Ziva. He looked at the visibly weak woman, the visibly helpless woman, the woman who, visibly hadn't been listening. She was zoned out, staring at the water. She looked like she was trying to pry the fish out of the water with mind power alone.

"I used all the power I could muster to follow you to the end. Then when you jumped, I followed," He looked off into the distance. "I couldn't let you go alone. I felt responsible for you, seeing as we wizards have been keeping an eye on you since we arrived... I used all my powers hovering behind you and following you here. Now..." James trailed off. His eyes began to reveal sadness. "Now, I think I am just like one of you."

The group all stared at him.

"I'M A MERE MORTAL," and with that he threw his body back and fell to the ground in a burst of fury and weakness.
