The Alvarez Empire, Council Chamber.

A shimmering, water-like projection screen displayed the scene unfolding on the western coast. The atmosphere in the room was tense. Even from afar, through the magical projection, they could feel the oppressive aura emanating from Dimaria.

"Who... who is that person?"

The Winter General, Invel, standing beside God Serena, spoke, a hint of surprise in his voice.

"I can confirm that His Majesty did not create this demon."

"Nor is he from Ishgar." God Serena said with a cold smile. "I've never seen anyone like him in Ishgar. Well, it's a vast continent. It's not surprising that a few powerful individuals would emerge. I suppose I'll go and deal with him."

Invel spoke calmly.

"Very well. I'll leave this matter to you. Find out this young man's true purpose for coming to Alvarez. If he's like you, we might be able to recruit him. After all, we'll soon be facing the Dragon King. Otherwise... eliminate him. We can't afford any mistakes at this juncture."

God Serena nodded. "Then I shall meet this Mage from Ishgar,"

...

As God Serena appeared on the western coast, the atmosphere instantly shifted. Even those observing through the magical projection could feel the change, the pressure emanating from the God of Ishgar.

"Who... who is that?"

A nearby imperial soldier, observing God Serena, stammered, his eyes wide with shock.

"What's happening...?"

The soldiers closest to God Serena froze, their bodies rigid. Those with weaker constitutions collapsed to the ground, trembling uncontrollably as he walked past.

Invel stood with his hands clasped behind his back, his expression calm as he watched the scene unfold on the projection. "His magical pressure is too strong. Ordinary mages can't even stand in his presence. It seems our 'Comrade' favored by the 8 Dragon Lacrimas will bring us another victory."

When two mages had a significant difference in their magical power, the stronger one could simply overwhelm the weaker with their aura, rendering them helpless. Gildarts had demonstrated this ability, incapacitating weaker mages without even using magic.

Larcade turned his gaze towards the projection of God Serena. "He... is likely stronger than all of us."

"Indeed." Invel nodded. "Probably two levels stronger. Only the Magic King and Irene are stronger."

"Two levels?!"

Bloodman, was stunned. He couldn't believe it. "How is that possible...? Even the strongest mage in Ishgar should only be on par with us, the Spriggan 12."

Invel glanced at him, explaining casually, "Just as the Wizard Saints of Ishgar have varying levels of power, with a significant gap between the top four and the rest, and an even greater gap between the top three and the number one, there's a similar disparity among us."

"Even though each of the Spriggan 12 possesses the power of the strongest mage in Ishgar, we must acknowledge that there are differences between us."

The others exchanged glances, a tacit understanding passing between them. At their level, numbers were meaningless. They had to admit that the Magic King, August, and Irene Belserion were on another level entirely.
