Mary Geoise, the Holy Land.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Admiral Kizaru were in a large conference room at the World Government headquarters, preparing to discuss strategies for dealing with Whitebeard.

Despite the Marine's apparent advantage, this was a war with the potential to draw in another Emperor, Red-Haired Shanks, who had past ties with Whitebeard.

Even the Five Elders couldn't afford to underestimate the situation. However, before the meeting could begin, news arrived from the Sabaody Archipelago.

"That damned brat again, causing trouble left and right! The Enies Lobby incident, and now this... That entire family is nothing but trouble!" Sengoku grumbled, massaging his temples with a weary sigh. He was truly exhausted.

Back when he worked alongside Garp, he'd constantly been cleaning up his messes. Now, Garp's son, Dragon, was leading the Revolutionary Army, adding another layer of headaches.

"Reports indicate that Straw Hat Luffy, Eustass Kid and his crew, Trafalgar Law and his crew, along with thirteen other wanted criminals, were involved. Five of them have bounties exceeding 100 million berries. The primary offender, of course, is Straw Hat Luffy, for assaulting a World Noble."

"Three Celestial Dragons were taken hostage. This is an unprecedented and egregious incident."

Sengoku took a deep breath to compose himself. "Have they made any demands?"

"Not yet."

A tense silence filled the room. Kizaru, lounging in a nearby chair, took a sip of tea before drawling, "Regardless of the circumstances, we can't ignore an attack on a World Noble, can we, Sengoku?"

The situation involved Luffy, which meant it involved Garp. With the Celestial Dragons also involved, it was a delicate matter. Kizaru saw an opportunity to do Garp a favor.

He had done the same in the original timeline. He could have easily eliminated Luffy and his crew multiple times before Rayleigh arrived, but he had deliberately stalled, allowing the Dark King to intervene.

"Kizaru..."

Sengoku looked at Kizaru and shook his head in resignation. Kizaru, despite his laid-back demeanor, was the most suitable choice for this situation. A nonchalant approach was precisely what was needed.

"Very well."

"This is a minor issue. The matter with Whitebeard takes precedence." After Kizaru departed, Sengoku took a deep breath and set the Sabaody incident aside for the moment.

The situation with Ace was urgent. This hot potato couldn't be held for long. A decision had to be made: execute or release. Imprisonment was not an option; Whitebeard would undoubtedly launch a rescue attempt.

After conferring with Aokiji, Akainu, and the other admirals, Sengoku reported the matter to the Five Elders. The final decision was made: to confront Whitebeard and publicly execute Ace.

This wasn't a conspiracy; it was a blatant challenge. Whitebeard, with his unwavering sense of loyalty, would be forced to respond. He wouldn't abandon his son.

...

Sabaody Archipelago.

The aftermath of Luffy's attack on the Celestial Dragon had plunged the entire archipelago into chaos.
