This is not finished. I am posting it to gain some readers and will post the rest when I am done writing it! I'm pretty proud of it, a lot prouder than the other stories I posted up here in the past. I really didn't know where to take them and in the end they never got finished unlike this one. I have planned out most of the book, I just have to sit down and write the rest. Can't wait until I am done to show all of you amazing people. I will try and have it down by the end of summer! Thanks!

"Mom, I'm not wearing that," I told her rolling my eyes at the frilly dress she had decided to buy for me. "And I'm not going to put my name in. It's just not me."
"But honey, just think," she started waving her manicured hands all over the place. "We can get your nails done, and your hair, and get your eyebrows waxed. You have such pretty eyes; green like your father's. Your thick bushy eyebrows just take away from how beautiful your eyes are," she reached up to touch my cheek, but I gently pushed it away.
"I thought it was a lottery, you know, completely random."
"You can't believe that they would just randomly pick a girl, do you? They most definitely have cameras looking for the perfect candidate." She laid the dress on the bed fixing it so it laid perfectly. "So that's why we need to fix you up. Those clothes make you look like a boy."
"Why can't you understand that this is who I am and that I'm never going to be what you want me to be," I snapped tired of all her constant judging and criticism.
"Because I have a beautiful daughter who just doesn't care. Look at this picture," she said picking up a photo of me a year ago in a dress that she had forced me into along with make up she had caked on my face.
"That was a long time ago. I'm not going to let you push me around anymore! And this Princess Lottery? It's not for me. " I looked at my mom, her face showing signs of aging with light wrinkles in her cheeks and grey hairs making themselves more prevalent.
"I'm sorry if I want you to be happy and comfortable for the rest of your life. I don't want to worry about you after I am no longer around," she huffed. "If you tried, I think you would make a wonderful princess. You're compassionate, kind, caring, and full of potential that you don't see in yourself yet. Plus, it's not like you will become queen. Prince Theo is still the crown prince, and even if he ends up in an accident there are still four more princes."
"No, mom, I'm going to find love the old fashion way. I'm going to meet a guy, date him, fall in love, and then get married not the other way around." I ended the conversation by leaving the room. My mother's heels clicked on the ground as she followed me.
"Where are you going?" she yelled after me.
"I'm hanging out with the guys. I'll be home later," I grabbed my black leather jacket and walked out the door.
My little blue Ford Focus sat in the driveway in front of the house. I slid into the front seat and pulled out of the driveway making my way to my friend Max's apartment. Me, him, and my other two friends, Dean and Josh, all hang out at Max's apartment whenever we can. These guys have been my friends since before I can remember. They are like the brother's I never had, and hope to God I will never had. At least I can go home when I get tired of them.
I got to Max's place and walked right through the front door.
"Were in the game room!" I heard Max yell followed by some laughing and shooting from the game they were playing.
"What's up guys," I greeted them as I plopped down on the ground in front of Dean. All the response I got out of them was a groan from each not even peeling their eyes away from the TV screen to even acknowledge my presence.
