"Adam? Can I talk tah you about something?" I say.
"Course Bri." He replies.
"We've been friends for 4 years or so now. Ive... Well... Had a crush on you for a while now... and uh-"
"Bri. Stop. I know where you're gonna go with this."
Im speechlessly looking at him.
"And yes. I want to go out with you."
And I'm still speechless.
"Well. Say something."
"I thought you'd say no because you're 14 and I'm 12."
"Age doesn't matter. I love you. And I've wanted this for a while."
He kisses me.
"Uh... I... Uh..."
He giggles. I love that giggle. I kiss him back, like I've always wanted.
