(Jack Skellington's POV)

I've been in the Toy Box for a while now. Lost track of how long, though. Merida and I have gotten so close that we might as well just claim that we're brother and sister. Today, Merida is going to teach me everything that there is about Spark Mode and editing. I walked outside and took the elevator platform that was connected to the treehouse part of the Interior. Merida was waiting over by the starting line of the racetrack. In case you were wondering, the hole from where I crashlanded was repaired.

"Ready, Jack?"
Merida smiled. I nodded.

"So how do you get into Spark Mode?"
I asked. She put her fingers on her chin.

"Hmm....... Well, you think about what toy you want to place, then let it flow through your body and relax."
Merida closed her eyes and went into Spark Mode. Her spark form had a plaid sash wrapped around it, strangely. She placed a block by the roots of the treehouse. She exited Spark Mode and faced me.

"Now you try."
She placed her hand or her hip. I close my eye sockets and think. What I wanted to bring out was a Small Terrain Block. I concentrated, furrowing my "brow". I felt like my feet had left the ground. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in........ Spark Mode!! It looked like I was floating in front of a screen with a crow's eye view of the ITTB (Introduction to The Toy Box). I looked at what I was in. It appeared to seem like a glowing golden pod. On the screen was a gray bar with a row of different-sized terrain blocks, a blue tab labeled "Terrain". I swiped my finger to the left and it showed more options. Finally, I found the Small Terrain Block. I moved my finger to find the spot I want to place it, then tap it. The block is placed. Now to get out. I notice a red "X" in the top right corner. I press it and fall onto my back. Must have exited Spark Mode. Merida hovered me with a giant smile plastered on her face.

"Jack, ye did it!! Ya entered Spark Mode!!"
She exclaimed. I hop onto my feet, flabbergasted.

"I entered Spark Mode..... I, entered Spark Mode...... I entered Spark Mode!!!!!!!!"
I grinned. Merida and I started cheering. I did a cartwheel but slammed into Merida.

"Whoops. Sorry."
I chuckled nervously. We scrambled to our feet and walk inside to celebrate. I wander into the kitchen to grab some sodas out of the fridge. The corners of my mouth curl into a smirk. I grabbed a can of Coke Cola, Merida's preffered drink, and shake it up. I grab my can of Sprite and walk over to Merida in the Lobby. We sat on the couch near the fireplace. I handed her the soda can. I open my can and take a sip. Merida opened hers and shrieked when soda completely drenched her. I start to laugh, nearly choking on my drink. Merida glares at me. I finally catch my breath.

"Jack?"

"Yes, Merida?"

"Come here, you!!!"
Merida yelled, trapping me in a headlock and giving me a noogie.

"Ow ow ow!! Okay okay, I'm sorry!!"
I shouted.

"What I thought."
She smirked, releasing me. We both started to chortle.

"Th-The look-- The look on your-- on your face!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!"
I wheeze out from lack of breath. Merida grips onto her stomach from laughing so hard and rolls off the couch. A low growling sound coming from my stomach echoes through the room, the townspeople's eyes focusing on me. I rub the back of my skull with my skeletal hand.

"Lunch?"

"Lunch."
I dash for the kitchen, Merida snickering behind me. We ate some sandwiches and raced on the track. I even got myself a pet Snoutoid and called it Ghoul. I'm glad to have a great friend like Merida. Otherwise, I'd be lost.
