Wrapped Up

(Merida's POV)

"Meep meep meep meep meep meep mee--"
I slam my hand on my alarm clock. I rub my eyes and trudge out of bed. After getting dressed, I head outside and walk towards the Combat Host.

"Morning Merida!! Up for some training?"
He greeted with a squeak.

"Aye. Let's begin!!"
I shouted. The Combat Host and I walk to the training grounds where I first learned how to fight. I unsheathed my bow. The Combat Host stepped onto the button to activate the enemy generator. An Agrabah Guard appeared. I started to fire arrows at the guard. The guard broke and Sparks fell out.

"Very good!! How about an Omnidroid?"
The Combat Host suggested. I nodded. The Combat Host stepped on the button and an Omnidroid appeared. I fired arrows and they bounced off the Omnidroid's metal body.

"Oh, shoot!!"
I complained. The robot started to charge for me. I ran for it. Up until it cornered me. The Combat Host struggled to stop the Omnidroid but was failing miserably. I started breathing heavily. The Omnidroid was firing up his eye to shoot his laser. But, out of nowhere, someone grabbed me and I was in the air.

"Whoa!! What in the--"
I look up. It was a man with a red mask on. On his chest was a spider symbol. He was swinging by a white rope. He lands on top of the Agrabah Palace and puts me down.

"You alright-- Whoa......."
The man's eyes widen. I raise a brow. He shook his head quickly.

"Sorry. I'm Spider-Man."
He held out his hand.

"Merida. Princess of DunBroch."
I shake his hand. I heard a faint voice calling my name. Immediately, I recognized it as Jack.

"Merida?! How did you get up there?!"
He called. I opened my mouth to respond but thundering footprints interrupted me. The Omnidroid is heading for Jack!!

"Jack look out!!!!!!!"
I cupped my hands around my mouth to sound louder. Jack whipped his skull around and saw the Omnidroid charging for him. He gasped, then bolted for the rope by the wall. The Omnidroid started shooting his laser vision at Jack. I aimed my arrow. Blue dust started to surround me. My arrow was glowing blue. I aimed it at the robot and released the arrow. The Omnidroid looked like he was falling backwards, but he had ice surrounding him and icicles hanging from his arms. Jack climbed onto a rooftop. Jumping down, I land perfectly onto the roof he was on.

"Jack, are you alright?!"
I asked.

"I'm fine. Question: How did you end up on top of the Agrabah Palace?!"
Jack threw his hands in the air.

"Someone rescued me from the 'Droid when I couldn't take it down. His name is--"
I started. Spider-Man jumped down to us.

"Mare, what was with that robo-laser guy?"
He questioned.

"'Mare'?"
Jack repeated. I sighed and rubbed my temples.

"Jack Skellington, meet Spider-Man. Spider-Man, Jack Skellington. Also known as the Pumpkin King."
I introduced. Spider-Man snickered.

"What's so funny?"
Jack glared at him.

"'The Pumpkin King'? Seriously?"
Spider-Man responded. If Jack had eyes, he'd be rolling them. I glanced at Spider-Man and smack the back of my hand against his arm.

"Yow!! What was--"

"He's my best friend, Spidey."
I smirked. Despite the mask, I knew he was smirking back at me. Footsteps echoed.

"Crud, the robo-laser guy...."
Spidey groaned.

"Omnidroid."
Jack corrected.

"Gesundheit."

"No, it's an Omnidroid..."
He slapped his bony hand on his forehead.

"Now is not the time to argue!!"
I furrowed my brow. Jack and Spidey both hesitate, glancing at each other, but nod. I grab my sword. We leap into the air, with a fearsome battle cry and my sword above my head. I slam my blade down, Jack doing the same with a brick he got off the roof and Spidey with a wheelbarrow being pulled down by that same white rope as if he's using a chained ball. All of our weapons shatter on the Omnidroid's iron exterior.

"Oh, snap!!!"
We all shouted in unison. The Omnidroid grabs the rope and throws Spidey against the wall. And swings him around to knock Jack out of the air. Then me. Not a good feeling for my gut. Or Spidey's. I don't think Jack even has a gut. The Omnidroid stomps closer to us. I gulp. Strangely, Jack and Spidey both wrap their arms around me like they were trying to shield me.

"Stay away from Merida!!"
They both growled in unison. I raise a brow. That was weird....... Something's up. But what?
