in the forgiving of forgetting

chapter 4

The relief of being able to see actually drains my body fluid full of flem. The conspiracy of me strecthing my hands across the couch quenching for bordem out ranges my thoughts.

I took the tv remote and started flipping through channels when Mercedes walks in with a 2liter of pop and a pizza box full of pizza. She sat down on the floor and stared at me.
"What?" She patted the floor and smiled. I slipped from the couch and onto the soft fuzzy carpet.
"So Whats with the prize food selection?"
"I thought you be hungry. " I smiled and flipped the lid open when I just busted out laughing. I sat there looking at the box and shook my head. I frowned instantly when I looked up.
"They forgot your birthday didnt they?" She nodded.
"Oh well let them, you cant have a better birthday then to spend it with your bestfriend." I leaned over and kissed her cheek. I stood up and said,
"Hang on I'll be back."
"Okay." I sat on the floor wishing my ribs would heal a little faster. (Ha,ha,ha) Austin is so weird I swear. I laid on the floor laughing.
As I walked into the kitchen mom was on the phone talkin and laughing.
"Hey bud what you doing with the candles?"
" its Mercedes birthday mom im doing my own little birthday thing. Tonight im taking her to the carnival!" She looked at me shocked.
" dont tell me you forgot too? Aww mom." She smiled.
" I kinda did whops. Dont worry I got it covered." I gave her that look.
"You better!" I walked out of the kitchen.
"(Was that Austin?)"
"Yeah(he,he,he) he came in and got out a candle and I asked him what he was doing with it and he said its Mercedes birthday today and he gave me a look like a serious kind of look and he said dont tell me you forgot, aww mom."
"( (haha) Judy Eliane. You better fix something for her, besides I didnt forget I have a present for her waiting in the tent. Its all packed up with my stuff...)"
"WAIT your coming home?"
"( Yes mama, I cant wait to see you and the kids, I Missed ya'll so much!)"
" I Missed you too Stan. Hey when you coming home?"
"(Tonight, well early in the mornin like around three. You gonna stay up for me sugar?)"
"You bet your bottoms I am!"
"(Thats my girl)!"

"Hey make a wish!" I turned my head to see Austin sitting down next to me with a pizza in his hand with a candle sticking out of it.
"Make a wish." I smiled and leaned in. It took one blow and it went out like a light.
"Did you wish for anything good?"
"Yeah I believe I did."
"Good now get up and get dressed." I stood up and lowered my eye brows.
"Where are we going?"
"Im taking you to a carnival."
"No way!!!" I smiled and wrapped my arms around him.
"Thank you!" I pulled back and walked up stairs. As I reached my room I looked myself in the mirror and frowned in disgused. I took my brush and fixed my hair up into a point tail. I smiled and put on shorts and a t-shirt. I jumped up and down and smiled. I walked out of the room and down the stairs.
"Austin where'd you go?"
"Right here." I turned around and smiled.
" ooh you smell good." I leaned in. And sniffed.
"Thanks, ready?" I nodded and laughed a little.
"Mom were leaving." Just then mom comes running in with something in her hands. Just then she tosses me the keys.
"Whats this?"
"Its kinda far and I didnt want you guys to walk with her ribs still sore."
"Thanks mom!" She bent down and kissed my cheek and Mercedes too. Mercedes smiled and walked up to the door and opened it. I thought to myself the fun is about to begin!!

(Hour later)
As Mercedes and I walked through the long tall grass I looked around and saw the lights of the street just turning on. The blare of the noise contracts the rides with the lights just beginning to show.
"Hey the stars are out!" I felt hands on my back, instantly they turn me around. I was facing Mercedes!
"Hey you."
"(Ha,ha,ha) Hey!"
"Thank you Austin, its good to have someone here with me."
"Your welcome beautiful."
"Can I have a kiss on the cheek?"
"Sure." As I leaned in I leaned my lips towards her cheek when she turned her head fast and my lips laid apon hers. She smiled as she pulled back and she ran towards the rides. I took off running after her when I finally caught up to her and I picked her up.
" where you think your going?" She laughed as my arms tighten around her.
"I got you sugar...."
"Your beginning to sound like your dad(he,he,he)." I turned her around and gave a thought. I pulled her head down towards mine and our lips met again. She pulled away quickly.
"Not now this isnt the perfect moment." She hopped down from my arms and walked towards the rides. I dont know if I can do this with him, the peer pressure of knowing He's my beatfriend hurts me because things are starting to change. I've only told god that the secerts of untwining both the heart and the hand is to Forgive the impacting bittering figures of humanoid feelings. The icky taste of bitter salt qenching the small taste buds in my mouth sickens the after taste. I looked over my shoulder and saw Austin walking behind me slowly. I stopped walking and grabbed his arm and said,
"How about we play some games huh dufus?" He smiled like a little kid.
"Aw dufus duck is smiling like a little kid."
"(Ha,ha,ha) Hey dont judge a kid from his carnival games okay!"
"Okay." I wrapped my arm around her shoulder as she laid her arm around my waist.
( 10minutes later)
Austin looked at the man in the patted vest I could tell he didnt like him very well. He kept on getting frustrated and some how distracted. Right now Austin wasnt acting himself and I was worried.
"Sorry no luck." Austin slanmed his hand on the counter and pointed his fingers at the man.
"Your not playing fair."
"Look kid you didnt win, you loose, tough luck, maybe better luck next time. " He slammed his hand on the counter and walked away. I looked at the man and we both shrugged, then I ran after Austin and called his name. "Hey Austin wait up." When I finally caught him I grabbed his arm forcing him to spain around angerly.
"Dont touch me. Im not in the mood to be touched by a fucking brat!!!" He pulled his arm away. I took a step back and I felt frightened, like really frightened.
"Okay." I turned and ran acrossed the grass.
"Wait... Mercedes I didnt mean it!!" As I raced by the rides and onto the rode I stopped and bent over. I looked side ways down the street.
"Mercedes!!" I looked up and saw Austin running towards me. I beginned to cry as I took off down the street.
As I finally reached where Mercedes was I looked down and felt scared.

As the steps grew further apart the street lights seem to be shuting off, I must get to Austin's truck.
( 10 minutes later)
Where the hell is Mercedes, God I hope she is okay I mean I did get really fucking moody but I didnt mean it. I walked up to my truck When I see Mercedes inside.
"Mercedes where the hell did you go?" I looked at her as she scooted closer to the passenger side. I climbed in and slammed the door shut causing her and I to jump. I sat there with both my hands on the steering wheel.
"Look I wanna...."
"Take me home. I wanna go h...."
"Shut up Mercedes Im trying apologize for what I did back there okay. Look I was mad at the fact that I couldnt win you a prize because its your birthday and I wanted to do something nice for you." I turned around and looked at him.
" why would you wanna buy me a present when I already got what I asked for?" I turned my body completly around and I grabbed his hand.
"I dont need you to buy me anything that wouldnt mean anything at all. You mean alot to me and I got what I asked for each day its my birthday. I got to have the bestest friend that any girl nor male could have. Your my bestfriend Austin Wayne!!!" I bent over and kissed his cheek and hugged him.
"Your right no one can be lucky enough as you to have Austin Wayne as your bestfriend(Ha,ha,ha)."
(Half hour later)
As we pulled into the drive way I unbuckled my seat belt to see Mercedes passed out on my lap. I smiled and gently opened the door. I pulled out my phone and texted mom.
Austin-
Hey mom were back home and Mercedes passed out in the truck, so I was wondering if you can come open the house door for me?

Mom-
Sure thing kidding ;)
I put my phone away and looked at her laying in the seat curled up in a ball. (Ha,ha,ha). God she's special!!!!
