Dear Diary •Chapter 1•

Dear Diary,

My name is Samantha Bo James. I'm 16, and I hope nobody ever finds you. I plan on writing in this diary everyday so that I can never forget what happened. You only have 500 pages so let's hope that we can make you last. Anyways, the reason why I decided to start writing in you diary is because of today.. Well let me tell you what happened. It was the last day of school today and we were in our last period. There was a note that came to my Choir teacher. She looks up "Samantha James, you are needed in the front office." She says bitterly as she shoved the note in my hands. I made my way to the front office looking at the blank walls. Just a month ago they were filled with prom posters and projects from the year. I finally made my way to the front office when I saw the cops there. I frown and walk up to the desk giving a bright smile to the lady as I had her my note. She gives me a sad smile and looks at the cops "Officer Brooke? This is Samantha James." The officer slowly turned around and smiled softly at me "hi Samantha. Can you please follow me?" He opens the door for me and I walk out of the front with him. We sat on a bench and he frowns "there was a accident today on the 15.. Your mom and dad were on their way north and a car cut them off.. Your dad swerved and was hit my a semi.. Both of your parents died on impact." He says softly and I look at him with shock. "No.. This isn't true.." I sob out softly as the tears filled my deep brown eyes. I swallow the lump in my throat. He frowns softly "and since you are a minor we have to send you to live with who your parents requested.. They named your uncle Paul Higgins. Your flight to London leaves tomorrow morning." He's spoke as I look down. He slowly stands "I'm sorry for your lost" all I did was swallow the lump in my throat and walk home like nothing happened. I kick the rocks beneath my feet "London.." I whisper softly and wipe my tears.. So here we are diary, the last night in my house. The house I came to love, the one I have all my memories in. Mostly the ones with my parents.. I need to get some rest diary.. Tomorrow is going to be long.
