Let's step into the exciting journey of Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook as their story continues to unfold. 😇

Welcome to the next captivating chapter of their extraordinary tale. 💞

💖💖

Taehyung and Jungkook sat across from each other, the small table between them bathed in warm, flickering candlelight.

Jungkook kept his gaze lowered, fingers resting quietly in his lap, shoulders slightly drawn in as he tried to settle himself, to feel okay in the unexpectedly intimate setting around them.

Across from him, Taehyung watched with a fond, almost helpless smile. It was soft, warm, and completely unguarded.

Just then, a waiter stepped inside, breaking the silence with a quiet presence. A polite smile curved his lips as he placed two menus neatly on the table.

"May I take your order, sir?" the waiter asked.

Taehyung picked up one of the menus, then slid the other toward Jungkook.

"What would you like to eat, Jungkookie?" Taehyung asked softly.

Jungkook glanced down at the menu, then back up at him.
"Anything is fine, Mr. Kim," he replied quietly.

Taehyung shook his head, a gentle warmth in his expression. His voice was firm, but only in the softest way.
"No, Jungkookie. I want you to enjoy the meal."

Jungkook bit his lip, gaze dropping again. His fingers hovered over the menu, unsure of what to choose. Nothing really stood out to him; he didn't have anything specific in mind.

"How about Makguksu?" Taehyung suggested with a small smile. "I've heard they serve one of the best ones in the city."

Jungkook looked up at him, caught off guard for a moment.
"...Makguksu?" he repeated quietly.

Taehyung nodded, the corners of his lips lifting into that familiar, boxy smile.
"Yeah. It's light and refreshing. I think you'll like it."

Jungkook thought about it. It had been a long time since he'd last had it, and Makguksu had always been one of his favorites.

He considered it quietly, lips puckering into a small, unconscious pout without even realizing it.

Taehyung noticed.

The sight sent something warm and dangerously fond through his chest. He looked away for just a second, pressing his lips together to steady himself.

Too cute, he thought helplessly. Far too cute.

After a moment, Jungkook nodded once, a small smile touching his lips.
"Okay... that's fine, Mr. Kim," he said softly. "I'd like to try it."

Taehyung cleared his throat gently and turned to the waiter before his thoughts could wander any further.
"We'll have two Makguksu, please."
