Blackness. That's all I could see. I couldn't hear or feel anything either, it felt like I was outside my body. There was no pain, no stress, just bliss silence like a empty black abis. Maybe I was dead? Is this really what death feels like? At that thought, the blackness around me started to lighten and along with it came a painful headache that recked my head. I moved my hand to rub my sore head. Wait!?! I moved my hand! I tried to move move my other hand, then my legs, they all worked. I then managed to open my eyes and slowly sat up, moaning loudly. Ahh I ached so badly. Once my eyes adjusted to the light, I looked at my surroundings. It was just turning dusk, the sun was just setting over the mountain tops casting a golden around the forest, the colours red, orange, yellow, purple and pink scattered across the sky.

The forest was silent except from the odd scuffle of small feet and leaves moving in the cold breeze, I looked up and saw I was sitting underneath the tree of flames. I smiled slightly, I knew my father had looked after me because I was alive and breathing. He was the spirit of the tree, I felt it in my heart.

I got up slowly, using the wines that hung on the tree to steady me on my wobbling feet. I grabbed my head when the pounding got worse but managed to keep my self up right and aware. I slowly unsteady hobbled down the path, wincing as the aching pain worsened, my whole body was aching but it was not as bad as the pain in my head. I suddenly tripped over a tree root and fell flat on my face.

"Ooowww" I moaned holding my nose and squinting in pain. I sat crossed legged on the mud knowing that if I got up, I would just fall back down. Oh God, what would happen if that bear came back or something worse, I would be dead meat.

"Oh I bet that hurt" A small voice said with a laugh. I looked up quickly and looked around me, trying to find where the voice came from but no one was near me.

"Who said that?" I said loudly still looking around me.

"She heard me? She heard me!" The voice said again and then I heard loads of murmuring all around me.

"Oh what's going on, I'm going insane" I groaned to myself, first I have no marks on me even after practically fighting a bear and now I'm hearing voices. Yup I'm insane.

"Your not insane darling" A different voice said softly, I looked up and only saw a small white and black rabbit with light blue eyes. She was looking up at me with almost a sympathetic look. Frowning, I continued to look around me still trying to find the voices.

"Down here honey" My eyebrows shot up and my mouth hung open as I saw the mouth of the small rabbit moving with the words spoken. Okay insanity here I come!

"Ah! You spoke! How'd you do that!?!" I shouted in shock which made my head pound, I winced a little at the pain.

"Oh dear, all us animals can speak, it's us who should be asking you ..How can you understand us?" The small rabbit hoped over towards me and looked at me with curiosity. With that more little rabbit hopped out from behind the bushes, birds dropped to the floor gracefully from the beaches of the trees, a couple of foxes trotted over and before I knew it, a huge group of all sort of animals were sitting in front of me with a cautious and curious looks smudged on their small faces.

"I-i-i don't no .." I frowned. What is happening to me! Talking to animals!?! How can that happen? It's impossible, isn't it? Well apparently not.

"hm oh darling don't worry, I'm sure you'll figure it out. Oh my name's Patch and this is my son Thumper" The small rabbit said gesturing to herself and a even smaller pure with rabbit with pink eyes sitting beside her.

"Hi" He said happily, I smiled back getting a little used to the whole talking thing.

"Um Hello, I'm Lillia" I replied. I cannot believe I'm talking to animals. Acctually thinking about it, it a pretty awesome.
