Where there's Shadow, there's always Light

Chapter 5-

Wow what a shower! I must admit, that shower was like heaven! Not that I've been there of course. I walked out into wide bathroom, after turning the shower off with much effort as there were soo many buttons, and I grabbed my fluffy towel then rapped it around my thin figure before walking out into the bedroom in search of clothes. Toothia was laying in my bed with her hands under her head, her eyes closed and her delicate wings folded against her back, she looked like she was asleep or at least in her own little dreamworld. I crept over to cupboard and opening it quietly, desperately trying to not make a sound, and grabbed a light green crop top which said in bold letters 'Lazy Day' across the front, black leggings, black fluffy sock with pictures of holy on them and black underwear before making my way back to the bathroom to change. I closed the door quietly as I could.

"I'm not asleep btw, now hurry up!" Came a voice which couldn't belong to anyone but Thoothia. I got dressed hurriedly before walking out to the bedroom again, this time Thoothia wasn't laying down sleep but buzzing around, opening draws and cabinets.

"Um what are you doing?" I asked drying my hair with a towel. I watched her zoom around as I sat on the bed.

"Getting stuff" Came her oh so helpful answer.

"For what?" I asked again.

"For...GIRL TIME!" Toothia screamed and then burst out giggling at my horrified face.

"Girl time? Sounds sappy" I wrinkled my nose in disgust.

"Oh come on! You no you wanna!" Toothia flew over with a box of what looked like beauty products and hair bows.

"No, I no wanna ..get out of here before you turn me into Barbie!" I exclaimed moving away from Thoothia and her box of horrors. Thoothia sighed and flew the box back over the where she had got it.

"Fine" Thoothia grumbled whilst crossing her legs. I sighed feeling slightly guilty.

"Sorry" Was all I said looking down at the bed sheets.

"Don't worry, I guess I just miss having sleepovers and loads of girl friends sometimes." She said with a smile small, I smiled back.

"How about we play a game instead, 20 questions sound good to you?" I asked watching Thoothia's eyes light up.

"Okay okay, me first!" Toothia screamed. "Hmm... who's your favourite guardian?" She looked at me hopefully.

"Seeming as I haven't really know you all long enough ...Hmm... Oh it'll have to be the girly Tia!" I said winking at Toothia. She looked at me confused for a second, I could see the clogs turning in her head before it clicked.

"Oh me!?! hehehe hmm.. I thought it would have been Jack" Toothia grinned at my shocked yet blushing face.

"Jack? Psshh no! why Jack? He doesn't even like me anyway" I gushed growing more red when Toothia started giggling.

"Oh he likes you alright, I saw the way he was looking at you when you came into the room with him." Tooth said with a small smirk.

"Hah yeah right, I don't even care...I don't like him and I never will. " I said sternly before my eyes darted to the door when I heard a noise. There stood Jack looking at me through the open door, I saw hurt flash before him eyes but it was gone as quickly as it came. He then turned, opened his door and slammed it shut.

"Wow..."I let out a gasp. "He has mood swings, you sure he's not a girl"

Toothia just let out a chuckle.

"I think you should go talk to him." Toothia got up and started pushing me towards the door. "Go on!" She gestured her hands towards Jacks bedroom door.
