Part Two.
-Barry-
I could never know how someone as small as my baby sister could withold so much sickness inside her. Let's not focus on her mental health here but dear God , sometimes I wanted Star Labs to run tests on her much like they did me and various other metahumans but I haven't told her that whole story about me being some metahuman just yet. And by the looks of our messy living room she wasn't up to hear it. Like I had said before.
"Don't wait up"
But it looked like she did just that and worked....and ate herself into a coma. Whenever she did stuff like this all night she'd get terrible migranes and depending on how much she ate a horrible stomach ache.
"Felicity!? You upstairs!?." Dropping my bag down by the front door I made my way into the kitchen, going to reach for my small glass of Tequila. But I paused realizing it wasn't there. Hearing a thump from upstairs, almost on instinct I flew upstairs making several documents of paper fly into the air as I went.
"In the bathroom.!" The wretched sound I heard next confirmed everything I thought prior to this moment was wrong.
"Did you drink my glass of Tequila.?" Fisting my hand in my hair, I watched her try to maintain a bloodly nose and vomit at the same time. I was sure she did and when she nodded her head I knew this was bad. I couldn't exactly get drunk like a regular human, still can't but whatever she drank was meant as a test run for me. At least the equivalent of 2 Tequila bottles for her.
"Felicity close your eyes okay.?"
"What? Barry what are you talking about why would I close my eyes.?" Pinching the bridge of his nose Barry snatched his drunken sister from the bathroom floor, running straight for Star Labs.
"Cisco! Caitln trash can now.!" Running forward Caitln slid one directly under her mouth while Cisco and I walked away for some privacy. Stuffing my hands in my pocket I swayed uncomfortably.
"C'mon man she's my baby sister, I haven't even told Joe or Iris yet and I.-"
"And you won't be telling Joe or Iris. You see Barry it is very important that you understand and realize just how fragile not only you but your secret is. I mean imagine thee amount of possibly choas that could insue if the world knew that the future great..."
"The Flash. " Cisco offered nodding his head with pride for another one of his nicknames.
"Ahh yes The great future Flash...if they knew that you were really Nora and Henry Allen's son the infamous Barry Allen."
"What's so special about my brother again? And was I just really wasted back there or did we get here like really, really fast.?" Smiling softly at my sister Dr Wells turned his wheelchair around to face her, his face kind.
"No Mrs. Smoak your brother here....can just...run...really really fast if you'd say." I didn't flinch not once while he spoke. Dr. Wells was a very smart man and my sister was still very hungover. Glancing at Cisco I shrugged, slightly not having much of an explanation. I didn't think my sister was really into drinking anymore after what happened when she was younger.
"Don't be naive just because she's 19, teenagers like to get wild to. You were one once to." Caitln nagged handing my sister a cup of blue liquid.
"It doesn't taste amazing but it'll help stop your vomiting, ruduce remotely any hangover symptoms except maybe a mild migrane and nausea." Leading my sister away just as Dr. Wells started grumbling to himself I sat down ready for the lecture.
"Barry....I'm sure I don't have to warn you again. Be more careful, you can't just run around and do things like that. Now hopefully she forgets what happened today or thinks this is all some cruel dream playing tricks on her mind." Little did Dr. Wells know but Felicity very much did believe she was possibly insane. Barry wasn't quite sure but some nights looking at his sister he knew she carried way more secrets on her shoulders than she let on. This made him wonder...what really happened all those times she got hurt and he wasn't there. Her answers were always muffled tears or a broken nothing slithering it's way from her lips.
"Well I'll head on home with her now before that drug kicks in for her favor. She'd just love to know all the secrets of Star Labs like me." Once gone Caitln and Cisco stood in silence , Cisco holding his Ipad close to his chest.
"You think it's her.?" Shrugging Caitln met him shoulder to shoulder, her eyes growing wide.
"Well it says here that Emma Allen was married to her husband a...Mr Jefferson Lee Smoak." She whispered scrolling along the many articles in there view.
"Oh but wait look.! It says that coworkers and friends reported her missing 2 months before Felicity's eight birthday and Nora Allen's murder." Cisco nearly shouted his eyes wide.
"Well they were sisters..." Caitln finished off soundly her eyes glossy.
"So....does that mean Felicity really couldn't be Barry's sister.?" Cisco questioned his heart heavy.
"I don't know Cisco Fe-"
"Cisco! Caitln! Let's not pry into our new friends personal life please! Searching for skeletons in someone's closet could only bring destruction and right now Barry Allen is the only key to keeping Central City together and safe. You as well as I both know how delicate bringing up the past can be. He's a good person true but he's still a metahuman and messing with his life and the normal balance of things in it can reap grave for all of us. So no more investigating understood.?" Both nodded slowly before preparing to clean up and go home.
Unfortunately it seemed like Starling City wasn't the only city that could continue to stir up some disturbing news. Rather anyone liked it or not, the truth about some dark things was bound to come out soon, and very soon.
