- - - A/N This chapter is 5 years after the main character left the village. She is now 16 years old. This book starts at the beginning of Naruto Shippuden. Most of the story will not be the same as the show. If I get enough comments I will write a seperate book about her 5 year journey. Enjoy! - - -

Five Years Later

"Hello," I said as I looked up at a man who was now my adopted father. He was about 5.9 with silver hair that stood pretty much straight up. I thought about how much product he probably put in his hair to make it stnad like that.

5 years ago I left the Hidden Leaf village by means of a justu developed by my grandfather. I had been all over and hung around here a lot to my surprise. I worked so hard on my jutsu and I even developed a few of my own. This would be my fourth adopted father. Kinda. In some of the worlds that I have been to I have a father and in some I don't have any parents at all. Back to my point.

The Fifth Hokage stared at me as if studying me and I stared right back. She had no right to judge me. You know the story of the nine differend tailed beasts? Well there's a tenth beast. The Ten-Tailed Tiger. Not really a beast. She was more of a friend to me who happened to be bound inside me. We were friends and she would help me out. And all the different "powers", or "magic" if you will, that I gained from the different dimensions is held in a special necklace that my grandmother carved when I was very young. I was also able to store up chakra. I had stored up an insane amount of chakra and nature energy. I trained with many people in this dimension even though they didn't know much about me.

"Hikari," the Hokage said quickly snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked at her to see her gaze soften. "Kakashi, you are dismissed. This girl will start with team 4 when we are finished developing the new teams." she said sternly. Kakashi nodded quickly and motioned for the to follow him. I bowed quickly to the Hokage and followed Kakashi out.

"Jeez," I said with a puff when I was out. "She was staring at me like I'm crazy!" I said. Which of course I knew was true. I had a huge beasts chakra inside me. I am definitely crazy.

"Your not completely crazy," said Mai. That's what I named the Tiger.

"Yeah, I guess I'm not," I thought.

Over the next few weeks before the teams were assigned I trained and trained. I tried to avoid people as much as I could until I would meet my team. I also grew closer to Kakashi and even started to consider him a father figure. After a long day of training I arrived hime to see that Kakashi was swraled out across the couch reading his book. When he noticed I walked in he looked up at me with a serious face.

"So, I've got something to tell you," he said with a look. I couldn't tell what it really meant because I don't know myself. "Your team, is made up of all boys," he said with a look on his face as though I might kill him.

"You've gotta be kidding right?" I asked. I was totally taken back. All boys. I thought.

"Also, you start tomorrow," he said quickly as he ran upstairs to his room.

"What?" I screamed. "You can't just drop the bomb like that Kakashi!"

I turned to see that in his quick escape he forgot his book and it was lying on the ground. I had already seen what types of books he read and I cringed in disgust. I picked it up carefully and walked up to my room not making a sound.

"Kakashi is going to kill you," Mai said with a snicker. I laughed along with her.

I quickly hid his book along with the rest of them that I had just casually walked into his room and collected. Hehe, I thought bet he's never gonna find these. I turned and as I was about to walked out of my room I saw Kakashi standing in front of me.

"Where is my book?" he asked with a look on his face that told me if I didn't tell him I was in for it.
