Chapter Four: Bella

Blake said he looked back, he looked back but didn't make a snide comment like most boys do. I was so confused, and scared, I never spend my time with boys, ever. My whole school is girls, even the teachers. Yet he simply walked up to me and started talking, like it was no big deal for him. Like he's around girls all the time. Also, I've never loved anybody.

Of course I love my mom, and my sister, but never anyone else, like in a relationship. I've never had a boyfriend. I bet Logan's had tons of girlfriends, and he's so friendly. So why did he choose me? Out of all my friends, Blake, Paige, Rose, Scarlett, then me. They're much more sociable than me, I lock myself away in my dorm whenever I can.

Scarlett said she thought he liked me, which I just don't know how to handle. Boys, they're confusing and strange, but also sort of intriguing. We've been going to The Hideout for another two weeks and seeing Logan and Jacob there, most times I say hi and walk past to sit with my friends, but there have been a few times, I'll sit with them and once I even sat with Logan alone.

He's nice, and smart, and funny. We went for lunch there again today, and met Logan, again. I had lunch with him again, but before leaving, this time, he handed me a piece of paper, and smiled sweetly as he walked out the door, and walked up the street to his car. It was his number.

I realized that he wasn't just looking for a lunch mate, he wanted to be friends. Friends was cool, I liked him, but if my mom ever found out she would kill me, and probably him. She believed that all men were evil and that my younger sister and I should never trust them. This was because she fell in love with my dad, then the got married, got divorced, then a couple of months later, he got too drunk at a bar and broke into her flat, and raped her. He made me.

She loved me of course but I was supposed to be made when they were married and happy together, not as a drunk accident. So this is why I go to an all girls boarding school, because of some drunk rapist.

I stared at the numbers on the note for a few more seconds before folding it neatly, making sure not to crumple it, and slipping it into my jeans back pocket. I swear I keep more things in there than I do the front pockets. The bell at the door rang and Scarlett, Rose, Paige and Blake came out.

"I saw that, Tinkerbella, he gave you a note." Scarlett said, nudging my arm. "Whaaaaaaat? A note, where did you get that?" I joked, sarcastically. I was hoping they hadn't seen but oh well. "sooo, what did it say?!" Blake asked, her eyes lit up at the sight of me blushing. "We want all the details, nothing left out, or i will know" she said.

"Nothing really happened, we sat down for lunch like we normally do, ordered, and had lunch, we talked about my day so far, and his, what we have after lunch, and what we are doing this weekend, just the usual lunch talk. Then he paid, and we came out, and he gave me the note. End of, c'mon we don't have long before end of lunch we have to get back to school."

"No no no no, you don't get away without telling us what the note says." Said Rose, walking backwards, in front of me. "It had his number on it!!" I squealed, without caring how loud it was. I just couldn't believe a boy had given me his number! I had never imagined in a million years that anyone would "like" me, it never even crossed my mind about having a boyfriend, but now I have an actual chance, I could not afford to blow this.
