The mugen train

You two were making your way to this train, you were partly nervous but mostly excited to see how rengoku would be on this mission.

"Hide your sword" he said and it confused you for a moment. He seemed to see or sense your confusion and turn to face you.

"The demon slayer core is not recognized by the government so, we have to hide our swords in public places such as this." He explained.

"I see, then I'll hide it" you said as you hid it.

It was still noticeable but not really you didn't have a haori or nothing you just find it easier to move around when in battle.

You followed him as he brought the two train tickets for the Mugen Train. You don't know why but you had a bad feeling about this... like the train somehow had a feeling of badness inside, but it could be your mind playing tricks on you.

As you two waited for the train to arrive you sensed three... no four people.

"Are we supposed be having company on this mission?" You asked rengoku.

"I don't know, but for sure I was told that we might have company later on in the mission." Renguko said and you nodded and looked at him but he was... gone?

But then you know where he went... the food stall... and of course he had to have Benton. You honestly thought that he'll get two or three but when you looked back he had fricking about twenty of those boxes.

You were amazed but also... wow, he can eat all of those?

You and rengoku got on the train as it come to a stop. You sat across from rengoku as you looked out the window and the train feels weird... you couldn't explain it how it felt but it just feels weird...

He offered you a box of bento and you took it... honestly you felt hungry after smelling the smell from the bento's he carries. You just finished eating when you sensed three demon slayers on the train.

"Hmm, it looks like they are already here." You said as you put down the box beside you.

You looked up to see tanjiro and two other boys with the one with the mask being very strange...

Y/n's POV

When I saw my so-called brother walked in, somehow I felt all happy, but I don't know why. When I saw him sitting by Rengoku and talking to him something about Fire Breathing?... I knew heard of that but why does it sound so familiar...

I was in thought when I didn't realize that the ticket man walking in. When I noticed him, he already finished everyone's tickets. I was pulling mine out and passing it to him but he already left. Weird... and also he looked sad or sick I wonder if he's ok...?

It was a few minutes later when I started to feel sleepy, which was weird I never sleep only at night... but somehow I just wanted to sleep. I looked to the others and saw that they fell asleep and rengoku did too. Maybe everyone is just sleepy from the train ride... wait, train, train... this is the mugen train... if it could be possible for this might be its demon art.

I didn't have time to think when I fell asleep I saw four people who looked a all like kids then I fell asleep.

I woke up on a bed I don't know why but the room looked so familiar... I sat up looking around I wasn't in my demon slayer uniform, weird. As I got up from my bed I looked outside, snow. That was what I can only see is just snow.

"Y/n! Your awake!" I heard someone say. When I turned around I saw a young girl and a young boy they kinda looked like me... only the face figured.

"How was your sleep? Y/n?" They asked me...

Why do they keep calling me y/n? Isn't my name kimi? I think it is... I followed the kids and I saw my mom... I walked over to her and pulled her in for a hug... I can feel her confusion but she hugged back. I didn't realized that i started to cry.

"Are you ok? Y/n?" She asked me and I didn't know how to answer that.

"I don't know..." I said and I felt someone hug my legs when I looked down to see the children from earlier.

"Well, you are now! Your younger siblings will take good care of you." The girl said to me and something snapped in my memory... I knew who these little kids were... they were my family.

"Of course thank you, hanako, and shigeru.." I said I remember their names as they pulled me to go and play. I saw Takeo chopping wood and I smiled as they sat me down and played with my hair. I remember how I felt like this when Nee-san did my hair and now I finally found that feeling.

After a few minutes my hair was in braids and I loved it. Then they started to run outside yelling:

"Tanjiro's back!" I stood up and looked to see him... he looked different. His scar... his hair... but I remember him as my brother. My twin brother.

I remember everything... but I still can't remember how i got their, the butterfly mansion. I still can't remember but I liked where I saw even if it's just a dream thanks to this dream I remember my family.

Then I felt a thump on my forehead.

I woke up...

I saw nezuko in front of me and I got up after I saw her start to bleed.

"Nezuko" I said then I looked up seeing them sleeping with kids tied a rope on their wrists. I walked over and saw that tanjiro's rope was gone...

"Maybe nezuko can burn the ropes..." I thought as I look over to nezuko.

"Hey, Nezuko."

"Hmm..."

"Can you burn the rest of the ropes?"

"Hmm-mm!" = "yes I will!"

I saw how she went to burn the ropes and then it kinda got me on edge when all of a sudden I saw rengoku stand up grabbing on to the girl's throat. He must've sensed that he was in danger...

Then I look up and sensed the strongest pinpoint at the head of the train... and I knew that was a demon. And I needed to kill it... to save these people..
