Y/n's POV:

I was on my way with tanjiro to the Rengoku's residence and I hope his dad won't give me a hard time. As we turned the couner I saw Senjuro I smiled sadly as I felt the sadness rating from him aura. When he saw me he smiled brightly.

"Kimi!" He called out.

I rise up my hand and waved at him as we got closer. I can tell he was still sad so I pulled him in for a hug and he seemed to melt in my arms.

"I suppose you heard the news about... kyojuro?" I asked and I felt him nod.

"I'm sorry." I said as I held him.

"He left you and your father a message and I came to deliver it. And my twin brother, he has a few questions to ask."

"Twin?" He asked.

"Yeah, and my real name is Y/n, but you can still call me kimi."

"Good to know-" he was just cut off when his dad called out and I looked towards him and saw him holding a bottle in his hand... it was big.

"I don't want to hear anything from that bastard!" He said.

No one's POV:

You felt a flame starting within you and you stood your ground and looked at him.

"Don't call him that!" You yelled.

"You have no say! He was a loser to start off with! He's was weak from the beginning! That's the reason why he died!" He yelled and you felt that flame in your heart multiplying.

"Don't say that! He was a talented young man from the moment I met him! And he died a great death and he was honoured for saving many people that day!" You yelled.

Was stomped towards you and when he saw your brother he eyes widen.

"You..." he started. You looked over at tanjiro.

"Those earrings... your a sun user aren't you?!" He asked. You could sence the confusion in your brother.

"No, I'm a water user..." Tanjiro replied but he didn't listen, the next second he had your brother's hair in his hand pulling on it as he rubbled something about the sun users.

Senjuro ran over the started to say.

"No, father please let him go! Please father-"

You snapped after witnessing him hit his own son... you appear beside him as you grabbed his arm.

"How dare you lay a hand on your own son!" You yelled as you pulled his hand away from tanjiro.

"Be careful he's a ex-hashira!" Senjuro yelled as he held his face, it was starting to swell up.

"Ex-hashira or not! I'm not scared!" You yelled.

And a hand to hand combat broke out with you fighting the father. But the next second shocked you as you saw tanjiro head-butt the guy. And now he's out cold on the ground.

"Damn..."

Y/n's POV:

I walked over to Senjuro and helped him with his injury. I was pissed. Later, the three of us went into the house as the father went out to get more... alcohol? I don't actually know.

Us, three sat down as we started to talk. I sat beside Senjuro. I can feel the sadness rating from him and I can't lie I do feel sad. He lost his elder brother, and I lost my trainer, but a friend, and brother-like figure to me.

I wrapped a arm around him and yet again he melted into my touch.

It seemed like I wasn't paying attention to the conversation at all until Senjuro turned to me.

"You said my brother left me a message?" He said and I nodded.

"He said, to follow your dreams no matter what..." I said and he started to tear up.

"You know, my sword never changed its colour... and when it does that it mean the sword men who is holding that sword is not reached a certain level of skill." He told me as I smiled sadly down at him willing to smile during this unhappy moment.

"Keep working hard and I believe you'll make it." I said and he nodded and wiped away his tears.

"And for your father... he said to tell him 'take care of yourself' that's what he said." I added.

Before I knew it I was leaving the rengoku residence's, it was painful to left him there, but it was his house even know he has a idiot if a father...

"Y/n? Are you ok?" I looked at tanjiro and nodded.

"Yeah I'm fine." I replied

"Your lying... I can smell the regret and anger rating off of you" he told me. I forgot he could do that, that he can smell the feelings or anything else that gives off a strong sense.

"I feel like I could've did something to save rengoku... but I was too much of a coward to fight..." I said.

"But he also told you to stay back... it wasn't your fault that he..." he cut himself off shortly as he looked ahead.

I nodded as I walked with him.

"I spend the last two years in demon slayer headquarters... my training was completed by a month and a week. And I always had this feeling that I was meant to be somewhere else... like I lived in the cold or a mountain, but I always told myself that I was just imagining thing.

And when we first met at the hashira meeting for your trail, I felt like I saw you before but I wasn't so sure... but when I heard the name Nezuko and Tanjiro it made something click. I was mad at sanemi for stabbing nezuko but it's how he is. He just hates demons, but he's not that bad once you get to know him.

Also you probably messed up that chance because of head butting him in the face. It was kinda of funny to be honest." I said and he sweat dropped.

We made our way back and I met muichiro on the way. I can tell tanjiro was a bit around the edges when he saw that I was close with muichiro and I guess he picked up in that.

Just a few days later I heard screaming it wasn't like a bloody horror type of scream it was more like a little girl. Well, I went to go and check it out and I saw tengen holding Aoi and one of the three girls.

And I saw kanao trying to stop him as the other girls started to stop as well can calling him a kidnapper. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.

The next thing I was standing on his shoulders lead forward so I can look at him.

"Why are you kidnapping that girls?" I asked and he said something about a mission then I jumped down. And I told him to put but he didn't listen and jump and I turned to see him crouching on the walls shelter thing.

My brother appeared out of nowhere and before I even knew it. I was joining tengen and my brother's friends on a mission to save his wives. He didn't tell me directly but I can tell he was worried about them. I started to run about ten feet away from tengen. He was the fastest hashira but I was slowly catching up to his speed by a bit.

We left the trio in the dust... sorry tanjiro...
