"Ugh! Stupid crystal clods taking my foot! They think they have won but they have not!" I scream in my head.
I helicopter fingers away towards the kindergarten. Without my foot my balance is way off without that foot. It brings back old memories. Bad memories. Memories I have tried many times to forget.
Flash back
The screams of gems dieing around me echoed through my head. The metals were attacking and they recruited gems from the Outcast Planet! (Read Gem Revolution by Water23) Unbelievable! Fear made all the muscles in my body tight, afraid I would become one of those screams. I held tighter onto my laser gun that I was trained to pull from my gem. I didn't see it coming. A cat-like gem raced at me with astonishing speed. It was Cats Eye! The dauter of Tigers Eye from the Outcast Planet. She had gem claws and before I knew it, my arms were sliced clean off! Right below the elbow. Next came my legs right at the knees. Cats Eye left, knowing I would die from my injuries. I was too young to retreat into my gem so the injuries were permanent.
I was taken to a gem hospital. Yellow Diamond thought I was one of the loyalist, bravest, and smartest gems under her authority so she told the gem hospital technician, Black Opal to make me prosthetics. The truth is, I wasn't just loyal to Yellow Diamond, I feared her! That's what made me loyal to her.
The prosthetics had cool functions and Black Opal made to try out all of them. I touched things but that caused me to freak out. I couldn't feel anything with my new floating fingers!
Gems made fun of me behind my back. They think I couldn't hear them, but I could. It made me furious! But it also made me as lonely as ever. I joined to mechanic and weapon designer/builder group to limit my contact with other gems. It worked. I hardly saw any gems anymore. I still felt as lonely as ever though...
Flash back over
I could see the kindergarten so I flew in for a landing on a tall rock. Big mistake. Missing my foot I couldn't land right. I fell off the the tall rock, getting cuts and scrapes all the way down. I hit the ground hard, landing on my face. A overwhelming pain filled my body. I gasped. My gem cracked!!
