Two months later, Canada was sleeping soundly in his bed after a long day of clean up duty.
He felt something small and furry being shoved into his arms and habitually hugged it close.
"Kuma." He whispered.
His eyes shot open when he realized what he said.
Kuma was gone.
He blinked, his vision focusing on the object in his arms.
It was a polar bear cub, but it definitely wasn't Kuma. This one was much smaller and had a collar wrapped around its neck.
"Who are you?" Canada asked, smiling fondly at the creature.
The bear only growled and suckled on Canada's finger lightly.
The northern country checked the collar for identification. All he found was a little scrap of folded paper which he read, face bright red with excitement.
