"Thank you" Haru whispered into my ear.

He's so close!!

I turned around and our faces were pretty close together.

I leaned in a bit and-

BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP!!!!

WHAT THE??! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??

"Um...sorry. Ehehe." We both quickly broke from our embrace and looked in opposite directions.

"Hello?" I answered the call.

"Hey Mizu, sweetheart. Can you come home right away?? Its kind of urgent."
It was mom obviously, but she sounded like she was crying.

"Oh....okay. I'll be right there." I said feeling nervous about hearing bad news.

It was just like when dad died.

"Um...guess we should be on our way hm?" I asked Haru.

He just nodded and we walked side by side.

"Hey...Mizu."Haru asked.

"Hm?" I looked at him.

"Did you...mean it when you said you loved me??" He looked at me, almost desperately.

WAAAAAHHH??? I TOTALLY FORGOT I SAID THAT! EH WUT DO I SAY?! WUT DO I SAY?!

"Um...you know...to be honest...i don't know." Ehehehe. At least you're being honest.

"I see..." Haru said looking back down.

I looked back down at the floor too.
What was i supposed to say? Say i love him and not even know myself??

AND WHY DO WE HAVE A HABIT OF LOOKING AT THE GROUND?? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO LOOK AT? Oh what a beautiful piece of gum!! I believe it's strawberry. LIKE WTF IS UP WITH THAT?

I hope he's not disappointed. I doubt. I mean he's Haru!

"But...every time i'm with you...I have these...weird urges." I told him blushing.

He backed away "That's disgusting -3-"

"NOT THOSE TYPE OF URGES YOU PERV!!" I yelled at him embarrassed.

"Its like...i want to be with you..and stay by your side so you won't feel lonely..." I said.

He looked at me surprised a bit.

"Here...how bout this." Haru said

I looked at him.

"If we continue to stay by eachother's side for a long period of time, and...eventually...we develop stronger feelings for eachother...then....i'll consider YOUR feelings towards me." He said.

He'd actually go with it? Does he actually care about me??

My eyes widened.

"Well? How about that??" He asked me waiting for my answer.

"I-I'll do it!!" I said loudly.

Even if he doesn't end up liking me back, I still want to be with him.

"So it's settled then." He said as we continued to walk.

"So...you'll really consider it?? But won't that take forever??" I asked. I was also kinda disappointed that i'd have to wait. I'm pretty impatient.

"Tsk. Well of course. You can't just fall in love with me that fast." He said, nudging me.

"Hmph." I pouted a bit. I guess he does have a point. We haven't known eachother for that long.

"Oh well...this is my stop! Bai Haru!!" I waved goodbye as i walked inside my home.

He just waved back and left.

Mom was sitting at the counter with her hands on her head. She looked really stressed.

"Mizu...i got fired." She said depressingly
