The prince and the commoner {Jake x Tom}

Seek the love I lost

Just as the two of them both leaned in to share a long awaited passionate kiss. There was a knock at the door, both their eyes widened as they turned their heads to face the door. Tom pulled away as he stood up and walked towards the door. He opened it in front of him was Aiden, who was smiling and looking up at him.

Aiden: Tom! Did you manage to speak to Jake?-

He was about to continue until he peaked his head into the room and saw Jake staring back at him. Jake huffed as his eyes met Aiden's. He stood up and walked towards the door with his arms crossed against his chest.

Jake: So you're Aiden?

Aiden looked up at Jake and gave him a warm smile as he extended his hand out to him.

Aiden: yes, it's a pleasure to meet you! Tom has spoken very highly  of you-

Tom's face turned bright red as he chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. Jake looked up at Tom with a raised eyebrow, his nose wrinkled almost in disgust. He glanced down at Aiden's hand and scoffed under his breath. Jake slightly wrapped his hands around Tom's arm.

Jake: hm... You're the guy that my boyfriend has been dating, huh?

Tom's blush only grew as he heard Jake's words, but he perked up when Jake called him his boyfriend. Aiden also looked rather surprised as he let his hand fall to his side.

Aiden: oh- of course not! I thought he had explained this already, we're just together for the well-being of our kingdoms. But we've never been intimate or anything!

Aiden put a hand to his chest and his other up as if to show he was sincere. He looked at Jake who was now leaning against the doorframe. Jake furrowed his eyebrows as he rolled his eyes and tugged Tom back into the bedroom.

Jake: Yeah, sure...

Tom stumbled back into the bedroom and chuckled nervously as he closed the door behind the two of them. Aiden sighed, his first impression of Jake was that he was annoying.
