People who genuinely care for you will always think about you (secretly) before themselves, even if they are selfish.

Sarakshi pov

That was weird...

I knocked on the door and waited for a response, my anticipation growing with each passing moment.

Unable to contain my impatience any longer, I opened the door and was taken aback by the scene before me.

The room was in chaos as if a hurricane had swept through and left chaos in its wake. Everything was so messy, making it hard to believe that this had once been a tidy space.

Kritika was listening to music as she went through a file in her hand. Papers, files, and clothes were scattered across her bed, while her study table was covered with books and more files. Her bear lay on the couch alongside a few other random items. I thought I had been pretty clear the previous morning.

I walked up to her and playfully tapped her on the head to get her attention.

Kritika:- Kon hai? (Who is it?)

Sara:- Headphone nikal pehele!! (Remove your headphone first!!)

She removed her headphones and looked at me with a questioning look.

Sara:- There is someone down there, waiting for you in the living room.

Kritika:- I think that someone might have a name.

Sara:- You, yourself come and meet him.

Kritika:- He? You sure that he is for me and not Aeindri?

Sara:- Haa he, usne bola ki use aunty ne bheja hai tujhe kuch dene. (Yes he. He said that aunty has sent you something for you.)

Kritika:- Oh! esa bolna na ki mera bhai aaya hai. (Oh! You should have said that my cousin's there.)

Oh! So he is actually her brother.

Kritika:- Tell him to wait for a while, I'll come down until then you go and give him company, jaa.

I rolled my eyes at her and left the room, but not before rolling one of the t-shirt (which was on the bed) into a ball and hitting her straight on her forehead.

Aeindri pov

I closed my book rested my head on the table and admired the soft sunrays entering from my balcony. The soft sunrays filtering through my balcony warmed my skin, the peace providing a soothing backdrop to my thoughts. After a couple of minutes, I glanced at the clock, astonished to find it was only 1 p.m. Stretching my limbs, I wandered out of my room.

As I got closer to the living room I heard a strange voice!?

I peeked inside the room and saw Sarakshi talking to a guy.  She seemed nervous while talking.

Though the guy did is undeniably attractive, boasting a sharp jawline and striking eyes, and wait... was that a sweet dimpled smile?

was that a sweet dimpled smile?
