The forest was bitter cold, I wore a big winter coat with a turtle neck long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, wool socks, and big winter boots.

I lifted my shoulders higher to cover my neck, so cold.
I pulled the lamp closer to my face trying to fine out where here was. It's an old oil lamp so the light didn't go very far.

All I see are trees, it's lims seem to reach out to you like hands.
It's kinda like the forest behind my house, the one I would never walk into.
Did I sleep walk into here? Even if I did where do I get out?

I looked up to find only stars, something catches my eye. I try to look closer only to see more forest, the hair on the back of my neck starts to rise.

This place is creepy, I start to walk again. At some point I have to find edge of  the forest.

After what felt like hours I had to stop, so tired.

My body screamed of tiredness and I had this never ending feeling of being watched. I turned around hoping to see anything, there was a flash like
a shadow.

"Hello?" I shouted, their was another movement by a tree.

"Is anyone there?"

There was someone standing their, "Thank god, I thought I was alone here."

The person started running at me, I screamed. Then there was just a breeze, my lamp light flickered, ready to go out.

I can't let it go out, I try to cover it from the wind. It keeps dancing just about to go out, trying to cover it. More wind blows by making it dance even more, then.. It goes out.

Its quiet, nothing moves.

Then every shadow moves.

My mind screams that I must run, then I run. Harder is all my mind screams and I push my self harder.

I can feel the trees grabbing for me like people, the shadows claw at my arms like hooks.

One hits the back of my head, I yelped and fell.

I could feel hot liquid fall down my neck, I had dropped the lamp some where while running.

I flipped around to find people or the shadows of them.

Then they jumped at me, I curled up into a ball. To hide from death....
