Night {A short story}

Forest

I opened my eyes to the tree campy, the stars shine bright and leafs flutter in the wind.

Something wet was dripping down the back of my head, I tried to get up.

I had to hold on to a tree do to the world spinning and black spots clouding my vision.

I was back to my winter clothes and missing lamp.

All I what to do is sleep I'm so sick and tired of this game of darkness.

First I'm fought over by two very different world.

Then they dangle my love in front of me before yanking him away.

Lastly they make me leave my Nana all over again, just for her to tell me I need this stupid metal junk.

I held the metal ball in my hand giving it glares that could kill.

Something moved in front of me, looked up to find watching it me like a tiger ready to attack.

Then their is more and more, the shadows all their just watching me.

It is darn creepy for me to stand their with shadows every where watching me.

Then I snapped, I ran like am going to die.

Holding the ball in my hand I ran throw the forest, I looked back to see if there still following me.

Big mistake, they where every where running/floating offer me. It's like part of a horror film, but I'm the girl that you scream not to open the door.

I turn a round just in time to miss running into a tree, why did it have to be a forest? Why not a nice flat land that points to a exit at the end of a yellow side walk?

I see something in the distance, two trees tangled to gather making a green patrol thing.

It screamed exit to me, so I ran to it.

I could hear movement getting closer to me, I freaked so I pushed my self harder.

The light in my hand started to get warmer and brighter.

I have to make it, it's my last hope. Something snagged the back of my foot.

I fell face first, the portal feet away.

"Nooooooo," I turned onto my back and held the ball of light in front of me hoping to block death.

The shadows lurked just out side the realm of light, one stepped closer into the light and just gone out of thin air.

"I'm not scared of you!" I screamed at the shadows, even if every part of my body screamed scared.

Some shadows stepped back, I got to my feet and tuck at threading step closer to them.

They all moved away front the light, "leave!"

Many left fast others tuck their time and moved away, one small shadow different front the rest just stand their watching me.

Really it didn't worry me I just what're to get out of here, the portal just feet away. Anything could be better on the other side then this forest crap.

I walked in till its a hair away from my face, holding the light thing tight I stepped throw.
