Behind the Camera (Janiel Fanfiction)

Chapter Two.

Daniels POV

Okay so it's currently 10:45 and I'm on my way to Joeys room. I dressed casually, wearing a striped shirt with a denim jacket and dark skinny jeans. I was kind've nervous since I liked him. A lot.

I knocked on the door to Joeys room and that's when my face started to get flushed. I was about to leave until he opened the door. I had then found out we were matching.

Joey: "Hey! We both had the same thought this morning!"

Daniel: "Haha! Great minds think alike," I said jokingly.

He chuckled.

Joey: "Well come on in and I can order, hey do you like Orange is the New Black?"

Daniel: "Oh my gosh! That's my favorite show!"

Joey: "Haha! Mine too!"

I walked in to Joeys room noticing that it was bigger than mine. I was a little jealous but I didn't care that much. Joey picked up the phone and started to order. I couldn't help but notice his beautiful face and the way his hair was swept perfectly to frame his face.

Joey: "Daniel?"

I shook my head coming back to reality.

Daniel: "W-What?" I stuttered.

Joey: "I asked what did you want."

Daniel: "Oh, um I just want a ham and cheese omelet with a green smoothie."

Great we aren't even ten minutes into talking and I already made a fool of myself.

Joey: "Okay. Two green smoothies and two ham and cheese omelets." he said into the phone.

Joey: "They said it'll be up here in about thirty minutes. So that means we have time to talk. So tell me about yourself."

I told Joey about how I grew up in Boston and that I came to LA to pursue my modeling career.

Joey: "Wait your from Boston? No way! So am I!" he said surprisingly.

His eyes were beautiful in the morning sunlight. I could get lost in them for over a million years. We were both silent but it wasn't awkward. We were just both losing each other in our eyes. I loved it. Then the moment got ruined when someone knocked on the door.

Joey: "Our food is here." he said disappointed.

We both wanted that moment to last forever.

Daniel: "Yeah, I'll go get the door and you can turn on Orange is the New Black."

I opened the door and I got our food and we ate quickly. We were both getting into the show until Joey stretched his arms and placed his hand on top of mine. I clutched it immediately, as did he. This was the perfect time to make my move. I kissed his cheek and his face grew as red as a cherry. He looked up at me and smiled I then put my arm around him and put his head on my chest. We both fell asleep. I feel as the world only revolved around us. I felt safe and loved with him.
