Chapter Fifteen.

Daniels POV

Joey was coming back tonight. I was excited but also nervous. I was excited that Joey was coming home. I missed him so much, but this little separation was good for us. But I was stressing about how I was going to propose, I can't do it when I want to the fireworks go off without my control. I just hope he says yes.

Joeys POV

I was so glad that I was coming home today. I missed Daniel so much that cried a little this morning thinking about him.

I walked in the door to my house, it was about 8:30 and the fireworks didn't start till 9:00. I realized Daniel wasn't downstairs so I went up to our room to find him taking a nap on our bed. I gave him a little peck on his lips causing him to wake up.

Daniel- "Huh.." he said in a tired voice with his eyes adjusting to the lights.

Joey- "You know, your really cute when your sleeping."

Daniel- "JOEY!" he said realizing it was me and instantly sitting up and hugging me.

Daniels POV

Joeys home! I gave him a very passionate kiss because I was excited to see him. The that's when I realized. Where's the ring?

I felt around for it and felt it in my pocket. I realized I put it there just in case Joey got home while I was sleeping. I didn't use the little velvet box because I knew it would be to obvious.

Joeys POV

Daniel- "Are you ready to go? I reserved some seats for us."

Joey- "Awe Danny! And yes I'm ready."

We went out to the car and I could tell Daniel was nervous about something.

Daniels POV

Joey- "Daniel are you okay?"

Shit. What am I going to say?

Daniel- "Yeah, I'm just worried it will be do crowded."

No shit it was going to be crowded! God Daniel your horrible at excuses.

Joey was sitting next to me holding my hand, he looked at me and kissed it. I smiled and blushed. But there was so many things going through my mind, I could barley stay focused on the road.

We got to our seats just in time for the fireworks started going off. My heart was beating a million miles an hour, but Joey was completely oblivious. He was just enjoying the show. Then came the finale. l told a friend I knew that was working the fireworks to text me when they were going to set mine off. About 30 seconds later, I got the text. I pulled out the ring making sure Joey didn't see it, and held it in my hand. Just waiting.

Joeys POV

It was almost time for the last firework Daniel seemed really nervous and he was sweating. The last firework went off, it was words, I read it out loud.

"Joey, will you marry me?"

I looked over to Daniel and he was on one knee holding a ring. I started crying and so did he.

Daniel- "Joey, will you be my prince?" he said with his voice hitching from hold back the tears.

Joey- "YES! Of course!" I said slamming my lips into his, while wrapping my arms around his neck and his arms around my waist.

We heard everyone awing at us. I didn't care. I was going to marry my prince.

We got in the car and did nothing but smile and flirt with each other.
