Chapter 12

Walking down the halls back towards his own home after getting asked out by his date. THAD was feeling rather invincible!

THAD: Man, Im feeling so good, Im sure I can say UZI kissed me out loud in this one hundred percent empty hallway with no reproductions!

????: You kissed UZI?

And just like that, the feeling was gone.

Replaced with a feeling of doom.

Slowly turning his head, THAD was greeted by N's much latter frame looming over him, a very creepy & overly friendly smile on his face.

THAD quickly went through all the possible outcomes of that may occur that didn't result in his own consumption and or death at the hands of his crush now turned dates older, bigger, stronger, & far more dangerous big brother.

Unfortunately, the only outcome he could process was a quick death.

So with nothing to lose but his life THAD spoke what very well might be his final words.

THAD: Listen, I have a family.

N: You do a pear to have several currently functional family members.

THAD: N, I know you said not to push things to far with UZI. But! I just want to clarify that it was UZI & not me who initiated the kiss. Not me!

THAD's brain: Wow "Slow clap" real smooth there "Slow clap" way to not panic & toss your date under the bus.

For several seconds, N just remained still, hovering over THAD with that unnerving smile before the lights flickered & for the briefest moment THAD could have sworn N's body changed before returning to normal.

THAD, understandably unaware of Disassembly drone body structure that didn't involve there stingers, NO FURTHER QUESTIONS, chalked it up to just a drone thing & nervously returned the smile befor slowly stepping away towards his room.

THAD: Well, good night N.

THAD said nervously as he closed the door, a "Nighty night" and suggestion of a bow for UZI being the last thing said between them.

Elsewhere, J & V where hard at work preparing for there comrade's arrival, a rather large smile on V's face as she finished rigging various traps & explosives.

V: You know J. I must say I am impressed. "Smiles & turned to her team leader"

J: "turned to V" Oh? And why is that?

V: "Smiles" You, here you are protecting a bunch of workers from the company, you lied on official company documents, & now we're rigging up traps & shit all for the purpose of having. "Wiles virtual tear" Im so proud.

J: Awww~ isn't that sweet.

V: Yeah, anyway! Where do you want this box of C4?

J: Stuff as much as you can into the dead workers we brought over.

Random worker: B-But you said you wouldn't hurt us if we did what you say!

J: Shhhh~ I said I wouldn't hurt all of you if you did what I said. But keep up the back talk & I'll be having you for dinner.

V: "leans over & whispers to J" I thought we where going to eat them all after this?

J: "whispers back" Later, later, we might need them.

V: "whispers back" Can we at least eat a few?

J: "whispers back" Don't worry, I already snuck two away for lunch.
