I woke up to the sun shining really bright in my face.
"Mom, where are we?" I asked as I turned to see my brother and sister still fast asleep.
"We're almost in San Francisco" my mom said
"Okay" I said as I fell back into a deep slumber ----------------------------------------------------------------"GUYS!!" I heard my mom yell
I popped my head up really fast to see what was going on.
"What's wrong mom?" I asked
"Well , here's your new home." She replied plainly as we pulled into the driveway of the hugest (Ik it's not a word) house in the world. I couldn't believe my eyes. It had a huge fountain in the middle of the driveway and the driveway circled around like you see in the movies. I turned to see my brother and sisters' reaction which was a "I'm about to crap myself" kind of expression. We all jumped out the car and Trevor and Jaz were the first ones to the front door. "Mommy hurry up! I wanna see what's inside!" Jaz said
Mom hurriedly came and unlocked the door the mansion. We all stood there in awe at the sight of the place. The living room had a white and gold theme to it. It was oh so beautiful! "Mommy! Mommy! Can we go pick out our rooms!?" Jaz said
"Yea you guys go ahead I'll be down here making some calls" she replied with a smile
As soon as she said that Trevor, Jaz, and I all sprinted up the steps. There were 4 bedrooms, but the one that certainly caught my eye, was the one with the balcony. The view from there was so breathtaking. It felt like I could see the whole Bay Area from up here. As soon as I claimed my room I went to check on Jaz to see what room she chose and of course she chose the room with the window seat 😕 I walked across the hall to Trevor's room to see him fuming like he was about to explode! "Hey Trev, you ok?" "Get out of my freaking room and leave me alone!!" And with that he slammed the door in my face. "Well I have no idea what that was about but I'll find out sooner or later I hope." I walked back to my room and started unpacking my stuff.
LATER THAT EVENING
"Kids, come downstairs and eat!" my mom yelled
Jaz and I were the only ones that came downstairs. "Where's Trevor?" My mom said
"He's in his room but I think something happened because he totally blew up on me earlier."
"I'll go check on him." my mom said
She got up and started walking to the stairs but I grabbed her wrist and told her to let him have sometime to cool off and that I was sure if he needed to talk to someone he'll come to us. She came back to the table and we all ate and went our separate ways.
I heard a knock on the door and in walked my mom.
"Wassup Moms"
"Umm you start school tomorrow"
"Jeez mom, ready for us to go back already!?" I said while chuckling and she laughed to.
"Well I'll let you get your rest since you have to get up early in the morning" my mom said
"Okay, Goodnight mom"
"Night Paiden" and with that she shut the door
I got in my bed and stared out the window only wondering what tomorrow brings me as I drifted off to sleep. 😴
