Paiden's POV
I woke up to my alarm going off which meant it was time for me to get ready for school sadly. I sluggishly got out of bed and went to brush my teeth and take a shower. After I did my morning necessities, I put on mascara and lip gloss then curled the ends of my hair. I put on a maroon tank top with a black parka and my all black puma creepers. When I got downstairs, my mom and little sister were already gone which gave me a chance to see what's up with my brother. I saw him sitting at the table eating breakfast so I made my way over to him. "Good morning Trev." "Hey." he simply responded "So, are you ok? You've been kind of out of it since we moved." "Yea, I'm fine. Just miss home that's all." "Oh ok. You'll get use to it. I promise." I responded "Thanks Lil sis." he said smiling "Welcome. I got to get going so i'll see you later." I told him making my way out the door "Ok. Love You lil sis" "Love you too Trev." Once I got to school I spotted Myles so I went to talk to him.
Myles's POV
While I was at my locker I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to find a girl just starring at me. "Uh, may I help you?" "Yea are you Myles?" "That would be me. Why?" "Well I'm Paiden, Mackie's friend and she told me what all went down between you guys." "Ok and your point is what exactly?" "I'm going to tell you this once and one time only. You better apologize for what you did. She really likes you and here you are being a jerk. Look, I know she had some wrongs in this to but be the bigger person ok? Thanks." Then she just walked off like it was nothing. I can't believe Mackie likes me because I've liked her since elementary school. She never recognized me though. This whole time I knew exactly who she was. I was just pretending not to know who she was so I wouldn't creep her out. She is so perfect. Her dimples when she smiles or when she laughs she scrunches up her eyebrows. I have to talk to her.
Mackie's POV
It's now lunch time and I was going to the usual table I sit at until I heard Paiden call me over to her table where Kalin and Myles sit. At first I was hesitant because I didn't want to see Myles but then I saw he wasn't there so went and sat down. "Wassup Paiden. Hey Kalin" "Hey Mack" they said in unison "So what's been going on with everyone?" I asked. Kalin and Paiden both looked and smiled at each other. They are so cute! "Oh nothing. We just went on a "date" last night." Paiden said. I practically squealed from excitement. "Oh my gosh! You guys are so goals right now!" Then just when I said that, guess what groundhog decided to pop out? MYLES! I stood up to go back to my other table but Myles grabbed my tray and sat it on the table then picked me up and carried me out the lunchroom. "Help! He's kidnapping me!" I was getting weird looks from everyone in the cafeteria. WOW! Thanks for all of your help! Once we made it out, he sat me by the lockers. "MYLES! What in the flipping HELL was that!" I said as he kissed me right after. It felt so magical. Like I was kissing soft blankets (I know that's weird but just play along lol). He then released my lips from his grasp. "That was...Wow." was all I could say. "Listen Mackie, I'm really truly sorry for the way I've been acting towards you. The truth is, I really like you Mackie. I've had feelings for you since elementary school but you never noticed me." he said with a sad expression "I didn't have the guts to talk to you either so that's why were just now starting to talk." he said "I hope you can forgive me Mack." "I forgive you Myles and I like you too." I said smiling and blushing at the same time "You're so cute when you blush." he said making me blush harder "Oh hush!" I said giggling at his comment. "Can I take you out on Friday. Like a date?" he asked "Um y-yea sure." I said blushing once again. He leaned in and kissed me once more before going to his next class since lunch was over. I can't wait to tell Paiden about my date with Myles!
