Paiden POV
After around 45 minutes, Kalin and I FINALLY came up with a project we could do. So our projects gonna be about how fast eggs can dissolve in different liquid food condiments (Ik its a weird project, but I did this is 7th grade lol).
"So you ready to get started?" Kalin asked
"Yea. So first we need to find what condiments to use and we need eggs."
Kalin and I went downstairs to get the eggs. Then we had to find out what condiments to use. So eventually we came up with using vinegar, coffee, tea, and cranberry juice.
"So let's get started!" I said
We put one egg in each cup, then filled each cup with the condiment.
Once we were finished with that, we agreed to check on the after 3 days.
"So I had fun with ya know the project." Kalin said nervously
"Yea, me too!" I said smiling like a mad man
I can't help but to start having feelings for him! He's so adorable!
"Um You have feelings for me?"
Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!
"I didn't mean to say it out loud"
"No! No. It's okay because I kind of have a crush on you too."
I couldn't help but start smiling
"I think it's best that we start off as friends first then see where we go from there"
"Ok that's fine" he said still jolly from me expressing how I feel about him
"Well I'll see you later Kalin, I have to get going."
"Okay but wait, I need your number!"
I gave him my number, kisses his cheek and said goodbye to Ms.Starlah and Lala. It wasn't so weird after all.
Mackie POV
Myles and I got finished building our volcano finally!
"Now all we have to do is get the stuff that will make it erupt" Myles said
"Ok what do we need?"
"I don't know you tell me." He said with an attitude
"You know you didn't have to say it like that."
"I didn't say it like anything Mackie!"
"Oh so now you wanna raise your voice?" "In that case you can forget about me being your partner and find a new one!" I said on the verge of crying
With that I ran out of the house and walked home. Why did I even take interest in him? Ughhhh!!
Myles POV
Why was I so rude to her!! I really messed up my chances of being friends or more with her! But it's whatever because she'll come running back to me about the project. Plus she left the entire volcano here at my house. So she won't have a choice but to come back and get the volcano because I sure won't bring it back to her.
