Chapter 15

Elsa POV

It opened my eyes and stretched my arms. Punzie wasn't here so I just decided to slob in my bed. I pulled my phone into my hands and started to text Punzie.

E- What time you coming home?

P- Probably an hour before the Ball xx

E-Oh ok, see you at 4 x

Ok I'd actually forgotten about the ball. I had no one to go with and no gowns to wear. Looks like I'd have to go shopping.

At the mall

I walked around but stopped when I saw the most BEAUTIFUL gown in the window of the shop. I had pretty much as much money as I wanted, seeing as my family were royal. I'd kinda forgotten that I was a princess. The dress was teal and had a sweetheart neckline. It curved down and formed to the body but then became loose and netted on your lower leg. I tried the dress on and to my surprise, it fitted well. I'm ashamed of myself. It did show a bit of clevage but it's not like I had a boyfriend or anything. It was pretty expensive but worth it. I checked the time, 2:30pm. Just enough time to go home and sort out an outfit for the party afterwards.

At The Dorm

Jack's dorm was pretty much the biggest dorm. It was at least 4 times the size of mine, and double the amount of rooms. He even had his own games room. I think about 50-60 people were going. To be honest I was kinda dreading it. Loads of drunk jocks and people shoving eachothers tongues down eachothers throats everywhere. I don't know whether I should get drunk or not, I guess it's the weekend so it's not too bad. I'd layed the outfit on the bed. Black matte stilettos, a short grey dress that was high necked and bodycon. Punzie was in the shower and I was curling my hair. I'd done a natural smokey eye look and it was already 4:30.
"Punzie hurry up!" I shouted.
"We need have another 45 minutes! I'm not getting there at 5pm! We'll look like loners!"
I sighed and giggled at her. I'd done everything there was to do.

At the dance

Everyone flocked into the large space. WITH PARTNERS. Yeah, it turns out you had to get a partner to get in. Would I have to result to a jock? Punzie was going with her crush Eugene, so I was left alone. Great friends I have. She walked of with Merida and Hiccup. I literally couldn't find anyone, I hid away from everyone else and tried to think. Who could I go with? And then it hit me. Jack! But what would Punzie say? It's not like I'd hang around with him once I'd gotten in. I got my phone out and rung Jack, just as a line of guys in tuxedos passed me.
"Hello" Jacks voice called.
"HI! Ugh, where are you?"
"Well I'm kinda looking for a date right now."
"I'LL BE YOUR DATE." I said a bit too loudly and desperately.
"Wait, you will? I thought you would have been taken?"
"Yeah... No, I haven't"
"But Punzie, wouldn't she..." I sharply cut him off
"It's not like we are going to be dancing or anything right?"
"Right" Jack sighed.
"Just meet me outside the ticket stand."
"Ok I'll be 2 minutes."
And sure enough two minutes past and he came running around the corner. Damn, he looked good. STOP IT ELSA HE'S A JERK. Anyway, the tux tightly fitted his body, and he wore a black tie. "So, Elsa doesn't have a date. Good thing I'm here to change all that." He says flexing his muscles. I sigh and grab his tie and pull his towards the ticket stand. "Your not my date and hurry up we're going to miss it." We handed our tickets to the man and walked in together. I quickly released myself from his grasp and tried to find Punzie, but I couldn't.

2 1/2 hours later

I was stuck sitting next to Jack, having small talk about his childhood and my family. I was about to start on whether he was going to come back to lessons or not when a tall slim girl sat on Jack's lap out of the blue.
"Hey honeybun!" She whines before planting a huge kiss on his lips. He pulls away and gives her a strange look. "You missed me?" She again whines while looking me up and down.
"Ugh not really." Jack scowls, but she takes it as a joke.
"Who is she?" She says, pointing at me.
"She's Elsa, a friend of mine."
She gives me a dirty look while Jack isn't watching and we shake hands, but she practically tries to crush my hand while doing so. I simply just turn around while they makeout, you actually don't realise how much this has annoyed me, he's such a player. I suddenly spot Punzie and I walk to her, but just before I reach her a man's voice talks from the speakers. "Our final dance will now be a partner dance, so please pick a person and head to the dance floor."
Looks like I'd be sitting out.
I see Jack get dragged by the girl onto the dance floor, he flashed me a quick look of desperation before she kisses him more. He pulls away and wipes his mouth. I just sit down in my previous place in histerics.

At the Party.

I'd met up with Punzie before to get changed, and we headed to the party. I told her all about the girl that Jack was with, and she told about how she practically made out with Augene, that's why I didn't see her. To be honest Jack had a made pretty good effort to make this party good. I could tell this would be a big night.
