Epilogue 3

Author's POV

Today was Sunday and just like ever other Sunday, the  laughter and  sounds of little Taerin’s giggles echoed  everywhere.

Y/N was in the kitchen, humming softly while preparing for the lunch, her hand absentmindedly was resting on her 4 month old belly.

Taehyung was seated at the dining table, his laptop open as he glanced between work emails and his daughter who was busy coloring at the table, proudly declaring every stroke of her crayon.

Taehyung 's father was in his room watching TV while Mrs. Hwang was out of town, visiting her brother's family as it's her nephew's marriage.

As Y/n was stirring the pot, she felt a little breathless, her throat felt dry.

She turned around to grab a glass of water for herself.
But just before she could fill the glass , she felt her eyes getting blurry, her head felt heavy.

She shook her head to get rid of the dizziness but the next moment she felt the glass slipping from her hand and her knees buckled.

The sound of glass shattering jolted Taehyung and Taerin both.

Taehyung immediately rushed to the kitchen .
Taerin’s crayons clattered to the floor as she ran after her father, her tiny face scrunched in fear.

Taehyung's heart dropped to his stomach as he saw Y/n lying on the floor, near the broken glass pieces.

Taerin - “Eomma, eomma!”
she cried looking at her mother in that condition.

Taehyung immediately switched the stove off.

He scooped Y/n in his arms and rushed out before warning Taerin.

Tae - " Rin, don't go near glass..come here."

As he walked in the hall he called for his father .

Tae - " Appa"

His voice shaking.
His father appeared almost instantly, his expression mirroring Taehyung’s worry.

Time skip
At hospital

The sterile smell of the hospital filled the air as they waited anxiously for the doctor’s update. Taerin clung to her grandfather’s hand, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

While her father was inside talking to the doctor.

Her little brain could not decipher what happened to her mother , why wasn't she responding to her.

Doctor came to sit in front of Taehyung after checking Y/n.

Doctor - " Mr. Kim, I just got your wife's reports, she is severely anemic.
Carrying twins is demanding, and her body is under a lot of strain."

Taehyung nodded with seriousness.

Tae - " What should we do doctor.?"

Doctor wrote something on the prescription.

Doctor - " I am adding some iron supplements and multivitamins, but also make sure that she eats balanced and nutritious food and is getting proper rest."
