Forget my face"  I yell scream the last few lyrics of our final song to put on the EP. "Nice job fuckers. Now that we have everything recorded we just gotta give it to Max to send to producers." Ben said sounding pretty satisfied. "Well I gotta go guys. Text me when you get the news."I said walking out the door.

I headed to my house to take a shower and get ready to go to sleep. When I laid down on my bed, my eyes getting heavier and heavier by the second, I jumped at the sound of my phone going off. I answered it hearing Cameron.

"Dude, get to the hospital now! Ben's mom..."I dropped my phone running to the hospital as fast as I could. I knew if it involved her and  hospital nothing good was going to come from this. 

FLASHBACK (i KNOW THESE EVENTS AREN'T REAL BUT IT'S MY STORY LINE; btw he really does have a sister named Kelly s a fun fact c:)

"Mom, what are we doing here?"I asked. At the time I was 12 years old. My mother, father, sister Kelly, and I were at St. Joseph hospital for the past 5 hours. "Moms taking a test to see how she is doing sweetheart." she said smiling to reassure me that nothing was wrong. Even though I was twelve and didn't know a lot about the world, I was pretty smart, and knew that something wasn't right. 

About 20 minutes later the doctor finally came back with the results. "I'm sorry to tell you this Mrs. Worsnop, but you've been diagnosed with Lymphoma." He said showing an apologetic look. I looked over to see my mom crying more than ever. She puled my sister, dad, and I into a hug and said something that i'd never forget. "Find a passion, do your passion, and make the most out of it for however long you can."

After Kelly and my dad went back home, I stayed with my mom so she could talk to the doctor some more. As she did I roamed around the halls until I passed a room with a kid around my age. I decided to go in and say hi since he was by himself. "Hey, i'm Danny." I said trying to start a conversation. "Ben. How come you're here?" He asked. "My mom's sick, she has cancer. What about you?"

"Same thing. But it's not really bad so she could get through this. It's still tough ya' know."

"Ben! I'm finished so we can go home no-" A lady started to say walking into the room. "Who's your new friend Ben?"

"His name's Danny. He's here for the same thing we are."

"Oh, well i'm sorry about that Danny. I'm Gwyn, Ben's mother."

"Nice to meet you ma'am."I responded shaking her hand.

"Danny, there you are we have to go."My mom said coming into to the room. 

"Linda? Linda Worsnop?"Ms.Gwyn said.

It turns out that my mom and Ben's mom had been best friends ever since they were my age. Ever since they reunited, they've been inseparable, same with Ben and I. That's how we've become friends. It was like we each had two moms. Especially ever since Ben's dad died, and mine left us and took Kelly with him. So the four of us stayed together. 

But then 4 years later my mom died. Turns out the cancer was still causing problems after all of the chemo and surgeries she's had. So she left me. After that I've moved into my own apartment after staying with Ben for awhile. Mrs. Gwyn was the only person Ben and I had left. She was doing better over the years, but she still was a bit sick, so we never knew when anything would  happen..until now.

END OF FLASHBACK

 As I reach the entrance of the emergency room, I ran to the front desk and asked the nurse where the Bruce's where and she showed me. "Danny!"Ben yelled all the way from across the room not caring at all who looked at him. We ran into a heart warming hug, both of us crying on each other's shoulder. "Is she okay, whats happening?"I had all of these questions I wanted to ask and needed to know. That was our mom in their. "I don't know man, they won't tell me anything. She was at home making dinner and next thing I know she was on the floor having a seizure."He said almost starting to cry again.

We all sat in the waiting room. Even Alex ran over worried about everything. We sat there for a good 4 hours. Almost as long as we sat when we first had to find out about this the first time. Finally the doctor had came out and everyone stood up as fast as possible. "The Bruce family."The doctor announced. Ben slowly walked up to him out of the group. They talked about something but no one else could hear or make out the words they were mouthing. After 5 minutes, he went back into the operating room, and Ben came over with tears in her eyes. 

"Ben, what did the doctor say?"I asked on the verge of blowing up from anxiety. After what seemed to be forever he finally started to tell me. "The doctor said that she's..."

AND THAT'S ALL FOR THIS CHAPTER!! I DECIDED WHY NOT END ON A CLIFFHANGER AND HAVE PEOPLE WONDER WHAT THE RESULTS ARE. I MEAN LIKE THEY COULD BE TEARS OF JOY, SADNESS, ANYTHING REALLY. BUT LATER, AND HAVE FUN HATING ME FOR STOPPING HERE!! XOXO
