"Care to explain what the fuck that shitshow was back there?" Yoongi's voice was cold and razor-sharp, cutting through the tense air like a blade.

Jeongguk sat slumped in his chair, refusing to meet Yoongi's burning gaze.

The air in the cabin was thick with tension, still echoing with the aftermath of the disaster he'd caused.

Namjoon, Seokjin, and Hoseok had left minutes ago, their parting words of scorn and disappointment ringing in Jeongguk's ears.

But Yoongi had stayed behind, his fury simmering just beneath the surface, sharp and unrelenting.

Yoongi stepped closer, his arms crossed over his chest, the disdain in his expression palpable.

"And tell me, Jeon, how the fuck am I supposed to explain this to Jimin? Huh? How do I tell my boyfriend that his best friend was publicly humiliated by someone he thought was capable of redemption?"

Jeongguk's jaw clenched, his nails digging into his palms as he kept his gaze firmly fixed on the floor. "I didn't say anything that wasn't true."

Yoongi's laugh was bitter, laced with venom. "True? You call that true? Are you actually hearing yourself, Jeongguk? Because I swear to god, I've never heard something so fucking pathetic come out of your mouth."

Jeongguk's jaw tightened, and his fists clenched at his sides. "He was laughing with Kang-Kang! What the hell was I supposed to think? That they were just exchanging recipes?"

Yoongi's eyes narrowed, his gaze slicing through Jeongguk like a whip. "Oh, so that's what we're doing now? Using Kang's bullshit as an excuse to be a vile, insufferable asshole? Grow the fuck up, Jeon Jeongguk. Kang's entire existence is a goddamn lie, and you fucking know it. But you still used his words as fuel, didn't you? Because deep down, you're too much of a coward to admit your own fucking insecurities!"

Jeongguk's head snapped up, his eyes blazing. "Insecurities? Don't give me that crap, hyung. I know what I saw-"

"Shut the fuck up!" Yoongi's voice boomed, and for a moment, Jeongguk froze. Yoongi stepped closer, his small frame radiating an intensity that could burn anyone alive.

"You didn't see shit. You just assumed, because that's easier for you, isn't it? Easier than dealing with the fact that you don't know how to handle whatever messed-up feelings you've got for him!"

Jeongguk's chest heaved, his knuckles white as his nails dug into his palms. "Don't even go there. Don't make this about me-"

"Oh, this is entirely about you," Yoongi hissed, his voice like ice.

"Because let me tell you something, Jeongguk. No matter how fucking angry or jealous or whatever the hell you were feeling, nothing-nothing-justifies the disgusting shit you said to Taehyung."

"Nothing gives you the right to humiliate him like that. You don't own him. You don't control him. He's not your fucking possession."

Jeongguk opened his mouth to retort, but Yoongi wasn't done.

"And even if he was flirting with Kang-which he wasn't, by the way-what the fuck does that have to do with you? Who the hell are you to call him a slut?"

"To bring up his fucking past just to throw it in his face like it's some joke? You think that makes you a man, Jeongguk? You think that makes you strong? Because all it makes you is a fucking coward."

Jeongguk staggered back like he'd been slapped, Yoongi's words landing harder than any physical blow could. But Yoongi didn't stop, his anger boiling over.
