Romance Night ..:Jewelman:..

"Apparently, I'm to go to this 'blind date'?"

"Mhmm. Technically, it tests out if you and the other person are capable of being together or simply developing a relationship over time or conversation."

Jewelman huffed, gently tapping his foot on the ground. "Sure, sure. I have no time for that explaining, if that's the case! I need to get ready."
"It's supposed to be fun, deary.~ Don't get yourself too fired up."

"Yeah man, we've got you!"

"Go for it."

"....."

"My calculations indicate that you'll be fi-"

"Shut uP GALAXY. YOUR PREDICTIONS ARE ANNOYING." Said an irritated Jewelman, rubbing his shiny forehead.

For the very first time in Jewelman's functioning robotic life, he's set up on what they call a 'blind date' with someone he likely doesn't know at all. He's a bit nervous for what's to come but, with the others assuring him fun and perhaps a good time, he feels more confidence and prepares for his date with ease. However..

"Okay so...Where is the date going to take place?" Jewel decided to ask Splash, who was usually almost an expert at determining love-related business. The mermaid bot put her hands behind her back and gave a wink to her brother. "That's for you to come up with. Your 'new friend' will be waiting for you somewhere outside.~" She said, giggling afterwards. "How am I supposed to know who this person is then!?" Jewel questioned, panicking slightly. "I'll be the one to introduce you to her. Nothing bad shall go wrong with that!" Splash answered happily. The two then hugged and proceeded to go outside for the date to begin.

*Y/N's POV*

I stared deeply into my watch and took an occasional glance around. Tonight, I've been put into a 'blind date' and I'm actually pretty excited! It could be anyone who I get paired up with! This is going to be interesting! .....I hope. Oh? I place my hand over my head and squint in suspicion. I see someone, two people to be exact. They seem to be approaching....Me! "Um..Hi. Can I help you?" I say with no hint of fear in my voice. They didn't look dangerous, after all. The mermaid-looking bot urged the other foward and then shot me a friendly glance. "Remember what you're here for? Well...Your date is this guy." She said, pointing at the bot with a big jewel on his head. "By the way, his name's Jewelman and I'm Splashwoman. It's a pleasure to meet you, dear!" She added in after a moment of silence. I take a second to let it sink all in...Okay. Jewelman. Date. .....Nice! I do a small squeal in my head as I introduce myself to the two. "Nice to meet you both! I'm Y/N but, you can call me (*insert something here*)woman!" I say cheerfully. Jewelman stands close by my side and stares awkwardly at me. It's kinda cute, to be honest. "Cool name." He said, smiling politely. I thanked him with a sincere kindness and reached over to grab his hand. Although....He reacted quite nervously to that. He even ended up pulling his hand away.

Oh well...

*Jewelman's POV*

"Bye bye! Have a great time, you two!" My 'sister' said, waving. Me and Y/N waved back and began our walk in the moonlight. It was in the least to say 'bad and all' as it felt like a pinch of romance, I guess. It's just what I feel honestly. I mean, who wouldn't want to walk with a stranger while the beautiful dazzling moon shines it's heavenly light down? I sure did enjoy that! Until....Let's just say I got bored and tried to get Y/N's attention. "Y/N.." I whined. "What is it?" She asked, looking at me with those 'charming' eyes. She tilted her head in a cutesy way and it made me uncomfortable for a salty second. "I....Well, aren't we to go somewhere more...'Exotic'?" I said, almost close to stuttering. "No way! This setting of where we are is exotic enough to me. Don't you think it's marvelous how great the moon looks?" Y/N replied. I did take a long look at the moon and yes, it was an excuse to not make an embarrassed blush appear on my face. Yet, it was already too late for that..And what's worse is that she noticed it too! Why me!? "Are you feeling alright?" She hesitantly asks me, possibly knowing the true meaning of my blushing. I nod anyway and dismiss the fact that I ever blushed because hey....It's EMBARRASSING. For the next several minutes, I stood quiet and so did she. We eventually agreed to sit down on the grass out of the path and relax awhile. I definitely knew the way back, so I wasn't worried about that. I was worried....That I might mess this whole date up. I'm a clumsy person sometimes and can get really awkward in certain situations but besides that, I'm generally a cool guy. But, my awkwardness may ruin moments and the thought of that made me want to end the date quickly. Still...What about her? Is she liking this date? She seems to be. I should do something...To get rid of this awful silence. "Y/N?" I say once more, except not as whiny as before. "Yes?" She said, giving me that stare....Again. Oh my, she's adorable! "Y-you're....I.....Look, I really can't say as much to make this out in words without terribly screwing this up but....You're pretty, okay? You make me feel too n-nervous..." I stuttered like a buffoon, glancing away. I didn't want to see her reaction to what I said. It was so sudden of me to state that yet....I meant it! "Jewelman? Can you look at me, please?" I heard her say, not sounding angry one bit. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes tightly, turned around and when I opened my eyes, she was inches away from my face. Our eyes locked together for what seemed like forever and then she kissed me. You don't know how much I wanted it to last for an eternity. It was so pure and wonderful and and-....Just great. She gave me her usual cute smile and hugged me tight. "Y'know...You're quite an attractive dude. I like you. Alot." She said. All I can do was whisper a 'I love you.' as I shyly hugged back. "Love me? Guess I love you too then!" She replied, kissing my cheek and holding my hand. This time, I didn't pull my hand away and let her loving hand stick to mines.

"Y/N." I say. "I believe this is love at first sight.~"
