Chapter 24

He was next to me and I was taken back, I wasn't yet used to his speed. I tried my best not to look at him, I didn't know how would I look at him after all those events of last night
"You can't leave. You wont" he said

"You can't stop me" I replied coldly

"Ashley please understand this is not a game" he said and tension was in the air

"I can't stay here. I mean it" I said

"Well I mean what I am saying too" he crossed his arms in front of him

"Fine. I will stay on one condition" I said and I could feel him relax

"Anything" he said but I prayed mentally he really meant it

"Convert me" I demanded

"No" he protested

"You said anything"

"Anything except this" he said giving me his back

"Why? Cause you think you can't save me?" I said remembering Blake's words

"You really believed him?" He sighed in annoyance

"Was he right?"

"I can't believe we are doing this" he turned around, he almost said something, almost opened his mouth, but decided against it

"I told you my condition" I said

"I am not doing this, not now" he said as he walked towards the door and when he was almost out he stopped and half turned
"You are going nowhere" he said and left the room banging the door behind him, I pressed my hand into a tight fist

"Don't dare me" I yelled and got out of the bed and started packing my  bag

Three weeks later

Three  weeks passed and I was still stubborn about my decision. I left his house that same day and no matter how much everyone forced me or tried convincing me to stay, all their attempts led them to a blocked road.I was clear about my decision. I was tired of being ths week girl everyone is trying to save. I have always been independent since my incident in London with the whole cocaian and my break up with Mathew thing. If I had learnt anything from it, it was never to depend or need someone.  Tobais and Amy already got hurt cause of me before and now Mathew was on the list too.Tyler stopped a lot of times by my house trying to convince me to go back with him or at least he would stay with me in my house but we would end up fighting and he would leave the house. Whenever I would ask him about the event that took place that night he would stutter and lose the ability to talk hence I started to believe that I would never get an answer from him so I stopped asking him but that didn't change the fact that I was going to do my best to find out.Mathew stopped by asking me what happened that night and I convinced him that we thought it would be a great idea if we go and sit in the car and talk but he had passed out all of a sudden so I drove him back home. Anyway my words weren't so convincing for him but lucky to me he didn't press it any further. We went out a couple of times, we even camped twice however he gave me the space I needed and never forced himself on me. We went out as friends or at least that is what I kept telling myself.

Two months later

Two months were over and I was still human and I was still staying in my house. I have quit the job and started finding another on, another job far away from the media and the lights, at least for now. Two months and still the casters didn't even try to come near me. Two months and still Tyler was trying and so was Mathew.I was pulled out of my thoughts with the sound of the phone "hello" I replied
"Listen, get ready tomorrow on two. And come over at Lucy's now. You, Cierra, Alison and Amy are the bride's maids" Jacob said with excitement
