So, from the title of this part, I'm assuming you guys know that I'm going to be in a play.
I auditioned Monday for a local play for kids. It's run by the Missoula Children's Theatre, and it's amazing. I've been doing plays there for 8 years now.
This year, the play is Sleeping Beauty, and I ended up getting the role of Maleficent. So that was pretty cool.
The trick of these plays is, however, that we only have a week of rehearsals before putting on a performance this Friday.
So I've had rehearsals every day since Monday from 10:00 to 2:30 each day.
Which is always fun, especially since I wake up by 8:00, unless I take a shower in the morning instead of taking one the night before, in which case, I wake up by 7:30. And that's even better. Waking up early is exactly what I wanted to do all summer. Insert more obvious sarcasm here.
That means that I haven't had much time to update anything, and I haven't been on many websites since Monday. I'm telling you this so that you don't panic.
(Nobody is probably panicking due to my absence. I'm like 95% sure nobody is going to panic because I'm gone for a few days.)
So, in case you actually WERE panicking (which I highly doubt), I was gone due to rigorous rehearsals. I have a LOT of singing parts, which is awesome, especially since I love singing as much as I do.
I'm planning on posting a new chapter for What May Happen soon, which is exciting. It's almost done, I just need to get out of my rut with the Kaoshi/Senta story line. Once I finish the part where they meet, I should be good to go. (Unless I decide to add an Ianthony moment to set off the Kaoshi/Senta thing as well.)
So new chapter of What May Happen is in the works.
ALSO: I am still diligently working on the Ianthony one-shot. I'm a little stumped on what to do concerning that story as well. I'm about 700 words into that one, and hopefully I'll get it done before the end of August. That's my goal for now.
A great goal, I know.
Song of the Day for this little update is the trap remix of the Jeopardy! theme song. It's super gangster, but still really nerdy. Which is basically my life story. Now I can bust a cap in someone's ass while I answer the Daily Double. And that combination is something that EVERYONE aspires to do some day.
Cross that one off the bucket list, am I right?
So, yeah. I have rehearsals all week (performances Friday evening and Saturday afternoon), which threw a wrench into my writing, but What May Happen is definitely going to be updated soon, and hopefully the Ianthony one-shot will be up as well.
That does it for this update!
Until next chapter.
