The streets of Monaco buzzed with the electric energy of the Grand Prix. The roar of engines filled the air, and the paddock was alive with activity. Summer led her group of friends through the chaos, her Ferrari cap perched confidently on her head. Thanks to Carlos, they all had VIP passes, and the excitement among them was palpable."This place is unreal," Marc said, spinning in a circle to take in the sleek cars, glamorous crowd, and bustling garages.
"Unreal? This is like heaven," Gavi added, snapping a selfie with the Ferrari logo in the background.
"Try not to embarrass us," Eva teased, holding Fermin's hand as they walked.
"Who? Me?" Gavi grinned mischievously. "Relax. I'm just here to soak in the atmosphere. Maybe charm a driver or two."
"You?" Lamine snorted. "You'd trip over your own feet trying to talk to someone famous."
Summer laughed, the banter between her friends lifting her spirits even more. She felt at home here, having visited the paddock countless times with Carlos over the years. But this time, sharing the experience with her friends—and Hector—made it all the more special.
Hector walked beside her, quieter than usual. "This really is something else," he said, his voice low enough that only she could hear.
"You haven't even seen the best part yet," Summer said, smiling up at him. "Wait until you hear the cars flying by at full speed. It's incredible."
He returned her smile, though it was fleeting. His eyes flicked ahead to where Carlos stood, waving them over.
The group gathered around Carlos, who grinned at their wide-eyed expressions. "Alright, I've got a treat for you," he said. "Try not to embarrass me."
"Too late for that," Ana quipped, earning a laugh.
Carlos rolled his eyes but waved them forward. As they entered the Ferrari hospitality suite, Summer's heart skipped a beat when she spotted Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris chatting near the window, Ollie Bearman grabbing a drink nearby, and—Max Verstappen leaning against the wall.
