We got straight to work and finished up within 4 hours. Which leaves me a lot of free time. None of us were expecting to go home so early and because I plan my work days around my work schedule, I had nothing to do besides go home and relax.
After work, I packed up and started to head to my car. But, like the last couple of times I've seen Grayson, my shoes were not tied...
I'm starting to think I have bad luck with shoes. I tripped over one of my laces and fell hard on the concrete. It hurt incredibly much, so much that I began to cry..loud.
Not long after I fell, I felt arms picking me up off the ground. It was Grayson, and he was shushing me and rubbing my back while cupping my head in his other free hand. I quieted down but continued to cry softly in the crease of his neck.
Then I realized who I was being held by and shot my head straight up. I tried to wiggle myself out of his grip but it only caused him to tighten it.
"Stop, Nella." You're hurt on your knees and hands, see? He showed me my palms and pointed to my knees.
"I'm gonna get you all fixed up if that's okay with you?" He looked at me with worried eyes. I nodded and lay my head back on his shoulder.
He walked back to the building where luckily it was empty. We made our way to the office in the back that had first aid. I was confused at first about how he knew about this but then I remembered even though he is a special guest he probably needed to know regardless.
"Sit here, don't squirm." He said calmly as he sat me in the dresser. He then pulled out some bandages, wipes, and Neosporin. He wiped my knees and hands gently, applied the medicine, and then put Hello Kitty bandages on me.
"All better?" He asked.
"Yess. Thanks so much, Grayson." I said. I tried to hop off of the counter but he put his hand on my thigh and pressed down.
"Wait. Let's talk for a bit before we leave." He said. He sounded stern and it scared me a little.
"For one, I've told you many times to keep your shoes tied, and though they were this morning, they weren't before you left." He said raising his eyebrow. I looked down a little flustered but he lifted my view back to him with his hand on my chin.
"Second, you almost called me daddy yesterday. Do you remember, little one?" He tilted his head to the side.
I didn't think he heard me since I quickly said his name to cover it... I was wrong. And every time he called me little it made it hard to keep my cover.
"I..yes."
"Yes sir" he corrected.
"Yes sir," I said and began to bite my lip nervously.
"Don't bite your lip, you'll damage the skin." He said and I quickly stopped.
"I don't mean to make this awkward for you, Nella. I just want to be honest, okay?" He reassured.
"Yes.. yes sir I mean, what is it?" I asked sheepishly.
"I know you're a little, there's no hiding it whatsoever. And I'm sure you can pick up on my dominant and daddy traits, yes?"
He caught me off guard for a bit, I knew I was less mature but I didn't think me being a little was that obvious. I guess Jose was right...
"Yes sir... I can see. I am a little I just, I don't usually say it so comfortably.." I said.
"It's okay, you don't have to do so for me to know." He chuckled. We both laughed for a bit before he started talking again.
"I'm assuming you don't have a daddy, little one."
"No, not yet, but I'm gonna get one soon if I keep looking.." His grip tightened on my thigh, confirming his thoughts I'd try to guess.
"Are you busy today, Nella?" He asked, moving his hand from me and putting it behind his back.
"Nuh-uh." I shook my head.
"Words." He corrected me, once again in a stern tone.
"I mean, no, I'm not."
"Then how about I take you out for a little free day, yea? You can have as much fun as you want, and we can get to know each other a bit better."
"Omg yes!!" I shouted, bouncing slightly on the counter.
"Inside voices, please." He said, raising his eyebrow.
"Oh, sorry, yes!" I whispered. He picked me up off the counter on placed me on my feet. I wanted to be carried again but I didn't know how to ask. I put my head down and pouted crossing my arms.
"Is there a problem, little girl?" Grayson asked sternly.
I looked up and shook my head. "Then I'd get rid of the pout and uncross those arms if I were you."
I quickly fixed my face and put my arms down.
"If you want to be picked up, use your words and ask." He said, kneeling a bit. I blushed some and quietly asked.
"Speak up."
"Can you please carry me?" I asked.
"Of course, princess." He picked me up and placed me on his hip as he walked out of the office and soon out of the building.
Once we reached my car, he let me get in my driver's seat and made sure I was buckled. We exchanged numbers, I gave him my address, and he even took a picture of my ouchies.
"Are you okay with driving right now, you're not in little space are you?" He asked.
"No, I'm good, I can drive. I haven't slipped today yet."
"Almost." He said with a smile.
"Well then I'll pick you up around 7, and I'll call you when I'm on my way, okay little one?" He said.
"Okay!!" I said excitedly. He watched me drive out before he left for his car.
I was so flabbergasted by everything that happened that I knew this time I knew I had to tell my friends. I got home quickly so I could do just that before I got ready.
