Michael's pov:

I'm not sure how long I was left laying like that. My head completely overwhelmed by everything. But after who knows how long, the ringing in my ears eased and my vision went back to normal. Though the pain never really went away. I sat up, rubbing the back of my head, wincing softly as the area was more sensitive then I expected. My fingers getting slightly wet I brushed against a specific spot, I couldn't stop the low keen that escaped as a sudden stab of pain shot through my head.

I pulled back my hand, looking at my fingers. Seeing the pads stained slightly red, blood settling into the small grooves that made up my fingerprints. I grimaced, once again behind reminded of that horrible awful prank. Maybe this was the world getting back at me? I sighed, my shoulders drooping as I tried not to let the memories take over again. Focus Mike, focus. I knew head wounds tended to bleed a lot. I saw that firsthand just... yesterday? I think I've only been down here a day. And I hoped it was only that long.

I grabbed my head from where it fell, putting it back on. Wincing slightly as it scrapped against the bleeding area. Hopefully that would keep anything bad out of it. Once making sure the hat was secure on my head, I got up. Using the shelf to balance as the floor felt like it was moving underneath my feet. I had to clench my jaw shut, in case I got sick.

I waited for the dizzy spell to pass. Grabbing one of the flashlights that fell out of the box. Leaving the mess to be cleaned up later. It's not like Father was here to scold me or find it anyways. Pressing my hand against the wall as I walked, just in case another dizzy spell came over me.

I moved much slower back to the Main Module between the Auditoriums. The lingering aches making themselves well known. I groaned softly as I got to the vent. Wincing slightly as I got back onto my hands and knees, my body protesting as I did. Crawling into the confined space, the aches complaining the entire time with ever small move. I thought the initial crawl was long, well this one felt worse. I knew it was the same distance, but that didn't stop it from feeling longer.

As soon as I got to the opening leading into Circus Baby's control room, I sighed in relief. Taking a moment just to enjoy not crawling while it hurt like this. Letting myself forget I'd have to again to leave. After awhile, the Handunit spoke up, it must of had enough with me dilly-dallying.   "Please check on Circus Baby." It had that same creepily calm tone. I wasn't sure if it'd be worse or not to actually hear irritation or not.

"Okay okay, I'm going." I grumbled, conveniently I was talking to a literal tablet. I got up, my back in particular complaining the action. I went back up to the windows looking into the Auditorium and slide the slider to turn the flashlight on. Shining it into the inky black space, squinting my eyes as I tried to see through the glare. But the light didn't seem to put a dent in the darkness. I couldn't see anything past the glare. I huffed in annoyance.

"Good, it seems Circus Baby is ready for showtime tomorrow. That concludes your daily tasks. Please proceed back to the dorms." I sighed, slightly disappointed I wasn't going home yet. Or seeing whatever was behind that window. Soon enough Mike, just hang in there. I started my way back, grimacing at the idea of heading back. Especially with what I saw in that other room.
