-seven years later-Jack pov
Its been three years since I have been taking care of these girls. I can say they have grown from cute little kids to pretty young teens. Elsa and Rapunzel are now becoming 15 soon while Anna and Merida are still 12. But I haven't been visiting much. Just once a year. Just smoothly.
Right now, I was walking around North's workshop while the others we're just doing, normal stuff. Bunny was painting an egg, Tooth talking to some of her fairies and Sandy........ well..... sleeping. I was having fun annoying Bunny when North stomped in.
"Jack, what are you doing here?" He asked in his Russian accent.
"Just hangin' for a while. Nothing bad has happened lately" I assured him. His eyebrows furrowed.
"That's what you think Jack. Mother Nature told me that Merida's challenge, is near to come" he said. My eyes widened. I should go back to DunBroch and see what's going on.
"Wait, who is Merida?" Tooth asked concerned.
"No time, I have to find her" I said. I saw a tinge of jealousy in Tooth's face. But I don't blame her, she doesn't now my situation YET.
I flew out of the workshop and with all my strength, flew all the way to the south. Wind the help of the wind, my journey to Scotland was faster..... but not fast enough. I did all I can to go faster, flying above the clouds. I decided to go lower or below the clouds, but I wish I didn't. The rain was pouring heavily. A storm. I went lower and lower until I found DunBroch Castle straight ahead. I peeked through one of the windows and saw the lady, her mother, talking to a big man, her father. I was eavesdropping so I would know what was going on.
"But Elinor, if you let her get courted at 15, she is too young. And I thought you want to help her." her father said.
"Fergus, that is why I decided she should be dating a man when she is 16 and let them marry at 18" her mom said. Oh no. Merida will loose her independence. And another thing, she is too young! I peeked once more and the door was creaking open. Merida entered the room and looked at her parents.
"What are you planning?" The twelve tear old asked.
"Its for the best Merida" the lady crouched down and held her shoulder. I could see tears threating to fall from her eyes. She shoved the hand of her mother from holding her and ran to her room.
Though she maybe a pain in the neck, I still have to help her. I circled the castle until I found Merida looking up on the moon from her window seat. She was crying. I came closer.
"Are you okay?" I asked her. She looked at me.
"Why do you care?" She said coldly. I came beside her and wiped her tears with my thumb.
"We may be like frenemies I guess? But that doesn't mean I can't care for you" I told her. She looked at me with her eyes filled with tears. She hugged me, burrying her face on my chest.
"Why do I have to be with someone? I's rather have a mom who wouldn't make me date at all but this?" She complained and looked out the moon.
"I would rather live with a bear than with them" she said and looked at me. A tear fell from her eyes, and it twinkled from the light of the moon. I ran my fingers through her curly hair.
"Don't say that. Your parents are what brought you here to the world" I told her. She nodded and walked towards her bed.
"You should probably get going" she said and snuggled up under the covers. I walked to her and kissed her forehead and flew out of her window.
.......it's like I have four children.Author's Note
I updated! Yehey! Yes, it is already seven years now. It is not because I am lazy, but because it is the story.
